@Nevara - I have to chuckle at you not being able to get into the country. Sorry. The story of you getting fired by text is sad though. ********!

@firstarioch - I love living here, I just wish our geek culture was as big as it is over in America. Also following my favourite ice hockey team is a pain in the butt thanks to them being Canadian.

I'm also a bit on edge because I'm trying to write about IGN/Kotaku/et al and their epic fails of journalism without hitting the berserk button. 'Tis hard.

Good luck with that. Just remember, deep breaths and you should probably avoid caffiene. XD

Haha, I never buy alternative costumes or weapons. I'm fine with whatever comes in the game. :D

Except this ending...no no no, not fine with it at all...

I've never been to a sci-fi-convention either.

Rather work for sci-fi myself.

I got a group of three other students I work with, to build a very simple, stationary "exoskeleton-arm". Merely an elbow that can spin around one axis.
We got the electrics and controls so far, so the motor moves in regard of how much force you put on the sensors, but the mechanical structure is still in the making.
Went a bit over the line though..,we had found a motor that fits into our budget, but now that thing got so much power it might smash skulls if we aren't careful.

Damn...I did it again...I over-nerded.

Give it N7 armour and name it Legion.. you'll become a god amongst geeks.

I could glue the N7-batch from my CE onto it;).

It would be more like Shepard and team is under heavy fire by Cerberus troops...outnumbered 10 to 1 things look grim as the enemy starts to advance...Then Star Child appears! Gunfire comes to a stop as all combatants turn and look at the nemesis of humanity. A long breathless pause ensues...Shepard glances over at the Cerberus commander...a slight nod of the head as both sides come to an understanding...in silence all guns move to target the child and all hell is unleashed....

Put in the rousing track from the Sol Jump sequence and you'd have an ending worthy of Mass Effect Image IPB

It's alright.  I can travel there with no problem, but citizenship is a whole nother beast.  The US does not like the idea of dual citizenship.

I think you need a hug.  Everyone needs a hug.

See what I mean...

Funny thing is you can come to the US on a visa and apply for citizenship up to 90 days after arrival.  Can't do that in the UK at all.

Really? I thought the US government was one of the nicest ones for dual citizenship...at least you can have dual citizenship. A lot of countries won't allow it.

You have to get in contact with the State Department and tell them you'd like dual citizenship otherwise they will negate your US citizenship.  Even then they will argue the risks of it and begrudgingly accept after prodding them with a sharp stick.

Regarding the tweet...@masseffect has ended up deleting many tweets in the recent past, and I thought it was supposed to be a "bot" accounts (as in managed by random ppl choosing from pre-written answers)

However, I'M SO SICK OF ALL THIS VAGUE BULL****! Enough with the double-entendres and read between the lines tweets.
Come clean already! Jesus!

Ok, it's 2 am and I'm pissed, so off to bed. See y'all tomorrow!

I laughed at the ME3 twitter post

'Writer @PatrickWeekes will be at the BioWare Base at #PAX to answer fan questions about #ME3 - have anything you'd like to ask? #BioWarePAX'

Oh I'm sure we can think of a few things to ask him ;) just remember to be polite.

I seriously hope that wasn't a hint at Mass Effect 4, carrying over these endings.
They make it feel that way after reading this tweet
twitter.com/#!/masseffect/status/184773431198355459
But I don't think it's worth getting worked up over non-official and completely ambiguous statements like those.

It seems a lot of us did not get "Last in the trilogy" means a continuation, but if they mean the last in Shepards story then that will make me a little nervous, going from warden to DAII was not at all inspiring.

In fairness, for me at least, the main problem with DA2 wasn't so much Hawks as other missteps, namely not establishing a central story. There's no real villain in DA2 and no real side to root for. The villains you have are either optional (templars or mages) or steeped in so much moral relativity that its hard to really be invested in Hawkes success (Qunari). Moral relativism may indeed lead to a more "realistic" story, but it also leads to a story that's difficult to invest in as it makes no real difference who's side wins. Aaaand there's my DA2 two cents. It kinda relates to my feelings on me3 ending and why I dislike the reveal about the reapers and their motivations. Before they were just space horrors that were alien and utterly unsympathetic. Now it turns out they were benevolent (albeit stupid) in their long term goals. Does alot to kill their menace.

I was tempted to ask if he was going to wear body armour or if he thought the biotic shields would be enough to protect him.. but then I figured it'd be taken the wrong way... I hate 160 characters to get a point across Image IPB
