The phrase 'Charity see the need, not the cause' is an old german proverb.Matt_gekko88 wrote...

What's with the "German proverb" in the headline?

As i realize that trhis thread begins to "slow down", I wanted to ask you guys: Is there reason to keep my hopes up? Or shall i bury ME 3, forget about it and move on to other games? Not sure if all this desperatly waiting is really worth it now? I mean- considering all what was promised- doesnt it all point at ME 3 staying as it is more likely?

SWOR is not performing as well as they hoped.
That is why EA stock is taking battering.
It held fora long time despite ofcthst but finally chinks in the armour are appearing ....
It was bound to happened. Costs of SWOR 500 mln dollars.
Isane.
And game is not that great.
Yeah...for a game they said wouldn't be like wow, they said. Is EXACTLY like wow but with a star wars feel with some talky bits. They made it sound so revolutionary but it really isn't <_< That alone will have stock lost now lets add what is happening to Mass Effect 3...Bioware and EA are in a bad place.

user said: I think the general perception is that red + shep breath at end is 'best' ending.
Manveer Heir's response: Well I think that is incorrect personally.
He thinks the green is the "best".
There is simply not going to be any end changing content. Get this into your heads.
No. You know nothing.

One more reason why I think they should have just developed KOTOR 3 instead; the same incredible universe and storytelling but with Mass Effect style graphics and dialogue. Sure it would have been very similar to ME, but it would have been widely accepted (and anticipated); a shame that all that effort was squandered over a clunky MMO.

That may be the case.
But it doesn't change the fact there will be NO ENDING DLC.

I know I'm probably going to get pelted with eggs, but I enjoy SWTOR, and so does my husband. We group together and have multiple characters in the 40 range in both LS and DS. However, I am sad that there won't be a KOTOR 3. Although things were 'wrapped up' crappily in The Sith Lords, I still enjoyed both games very much and want more.

I haven't replayed ME3 at all. Haven't even started a NG+.
I had 30+ playthroughs of ME1. That number alone makes me realize just how disappointed I am.

German edition of "GameStar" mocks "Retake ME" by making fun of us on their satire-page.
Also they think the ending "absolutely logical".

Yeah, I was going to go back throught and have a Best possible outcome character, but it doesn't really change anything, so I guess not.Lord Costantino wrote...

Hey, guys - let's not squabble with one another, okay? Everybody's frustrated, but arguing amongst ourselves doesn't help anything. Take a deep breath and let's keep doing our thing.
Tangentially related:
That tweet by Manveer Heir is actually really interesting. I 'got' that Synthesis was supposed to be viewed as the 'Best' ending because it's the one that requires the most points, but I hadn't really connected that with how irritated people have been that you can't get the 'Shepard Lives' stinger off the Destroy ending unless your EMS is even higher. The obvious implication there is that Bioware assumed wrong, and the ending fans actually consider the best is the one where Shepard lives. Surprise, surprise.
Riiiiiiight.....logical...Matt_gekko88 wrote...
