I also wanted to say this.
Have you guys experience same thing as me after finishing ME3.
I have lost interest in videogames. Imean I play occasional arcade racer etc but rarely.
I don't read magazines ( usually Game or Edge in Uk as they cater to mature gamer) nor I'm interested in any games.
Never happened to me before.
Its almost like um emotionally drained after that anticlimax ending.
Its just bad.
I don't know what do with it.

I have no interest in gaming anymore. Bioware more or less killed the child in me, which is pretty impressive. If they ignore us and announce no fixes, I'm just selling my games and systems.

i know that feeling (i have it after games that did not deliver what they promised (DA2, Mafia (part 1) and loads of others) - i know i will recover, but it always costs the industry, because i always take a break of at least 4 months from buying any games if something like this happens and normally i get i new game every two months and sometimes even more often then that, if there are good ones on the market that i do no have!)

ATM I am going so far as to pick up some additional hobbies to spend money and time on (i might just join a local association...say local shooting association in order to do air gun shooting (i was going to get an air gun anyway, but now i will do that much sooner, with money i would have bought games and computer-parts of... and i was not going to join the club - now i just might do that!)

so yeah, i know how you feel and i feel the same, i can't even play games i really love ATM (no Assassin's Creed: Revelations (i am glad i finished that before ME3 - otherwise I would be stuck ATM), no Skyrim (i have not finished that, yet...) etc.)...i just do not get in the mood and that is reinforced by the nice spring weather (normally i would play on the computer (not all the time, but still) even in nice weather, now i do a lot of other stuff!))

so, yeah bioware/EA: JOKE'S ON YOU - because the more you do this, the less money you will see from me (i might still buy occasionally, if a game is very cheap, but no more full price etc.)

greetings LAX
ps: hope they do something...hold the line and all that

Yep, quite a few people have the same, there have been several posts about this in other threads :)

Are you guys serious? I thought I was the only one. After I finished ME3 I just find myself not wanting to play videogames at all for some reason. Even 2 weeks after I finished when I tried my 2nd playthrough I stranded just after reaching the citadel for the first time. Seriously not cool...

The only thing I've been able to play is "Lets Golf 2" on my iPad, I have several very good RPG's on my system but not found the will to play.

I haven't had the desire to play anything with a story (unless it was really warped like binding of issac) so I spent most of my time playing tf2 or hat simulator as its currently known.  No story, just me, my flamethrower and trusty brain slug deflecting rockets and burning people.

It was rather cathardic when reviewing changes our users were requesting on our server and brainstorming and implementing ideas based on their feedback. (its a custom damage server)

If we don't take our user's concerns than no one will play on our servers.

Hrmmm... I think I'm on to something new here. <_<

I gota be honest. I been busy, playing multi with my guys so... ANd college work kept me busy too.

I just finished reading some articles and watching two videos on the indoctrination thing.

It makes too much sense, that I am keeping myself from raising my own hopes. Duno my skeptical side can't give Bioware such credit for the writting, given that there wouldn't be a good thing to come out this.

yes would be a hell of a n april fool, but the repercussions with "ending in dlc's" as a pattern for future games.

Either that or they do suck at writting endings in which they've lost a customer regardless.

You're certainly not alone. Welcome to the band. Sadly. I wish we could meet on better circunstances.

The last punch was the "Deus ex" ending video. That really took the sun away from me.

I think all of our non-gamer loved ones are getting pretty tired of hearing about ME3 and its awful endings. At least, I know all of mine are. It's just so... difficult to let it all go... and to stop ranting.... And that, my friends, is why we have this thread, which doubles as a support group that helps all who enter with their post-ME3-endings-stress disorders. Absolutely the same here. I am playing RAGE at the moment to at least get some distraction, however I don't enjoy playing as my thoughts constantly drag me back to ME3. Probably it isn't RAGE's fault, rather my inability to enjoy any video game in this current state of mind after being hit so bad by the meaningless ME3 ending.

I had the same feelings as most of being unable to pick up the controller, for more than a week. When I finally did pick up the controller again, I'll be honest, I've been mostly playing MP. Mass Effect is the series I just keep coming back to. It's the first series I picked up when I got back into gaming, and I don't want to play anything else.

But I can't play SP for a very long duration. I'll play it here and there, but mostly just trying to have fun in MP.

This week, though, I finally downloaded the soundtrack that came with the CE. And man, listening to it, there are those songs that just tear at the heartstrings. The leaving Earth is particularly powerful and a reminder of the power this game has on you.

The game and story were so good. So good. The ending.. sigh.

My mom said that if I didn't stop talking about ME3 and its ending, she was going to take me to a therapist...:P
so I got quiet for a couple of days (complained about it to other people instead) and I started talking about it again today.

And here, this is what we need to do

I know. It is the same for me. I come on this forum from time to time and that's all...

I had about a week, week and a half that I couldn't managed to play anything, then I started writing and getting the ugly feelings out of my system, since then, ,I have been writing more as well as playing other games, even managed to start an NG+ game with ME 3.  It just takes time.

Well, these are real emotions you're feeling and understandably so. Explaing in the K-R model as the Five Stages of Grief. These can be brought on by any significant emotional event. If you need to get a hamdle on what it is go here:

Yes, it does. My God, that trailer pumped me up SO MUCH. I even reposted it on my Facebook timeline. It makes me sad looking back. I was jittery with excitement and anticipation. And I'm 37

I still have to change the channel whenever the ME3 add airs. It is becoming tiring because it continues to air during hockey games.

*sigh* Same here, pretty much. Mom won't hear a word more about it, and Dad just glares at me and says "Why are you so upset? It's just a stupid video game. Get over it." Luckily, she can't use the therapist threat on me since I'm already seeing one...

And yes! That starchild soooo deserves to die! I even tried shooting him when I retried the other endings, but got nothing. Stupid starchild. Image IPB
