So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Be ready, it's an hour long. And about 20 minutes in you might find yourself reliving your ending feelings all over again.
The most described feeling after first playthrough is empty/hollow. I concur.
But after listening to this, anger boiled up again. Anger because of them not delivering what they promised, anger because of playing the Art argument (basically insulting our taste and intelligence), anger because of being laughed at, provoked and belittled by haughty gaming media. I feel like someone who has been fooled all along while everyone was milking my wallet by means of games, merchandise and whatnot. I feel like a fool for not expecting this, seeing through this.
But who would have expected this?

Btw something just occured in my mind. Since many press release kept saying Bioware's gonna make new / change the endings thru DLC (although we all know that is yet to be seen) and betting the devs first reaction would be "WTF that's NOT what I said" kind of thing.. Do you think it would help convince BW (to some degree) to just abandoned their idea of 'clarifying' and just gave us additional endings (what the fans really wanted) instead?
Just curious..
It all depends on money.
If Bioware didn't have this planned AT ALL which I'm hoping isn't the case, then its all ultimately gonna come down to "How much will it cost us to fix, and how much could it potentially cost us to ignore it."
If the fix it cost is too far above the projected "ignore it" cost then they won't fix anything regardless of what we want or what other magazines/articles state.
So yea, ultimately it will all come down to money.
Unless they had this all planned from the get go and have proven to be the biggest trolls in Gaming since the Director of Dark Souls. Take the pendant as a starting gift indeed...

Actually, has anyone sent a link for the testimonial video to the Forbes guys? They may be interested, and if they write about it, that will draw attention to the video.
You make a good point, someone should do that. Or I could do it if someone tells me how? lol

After venting on the Ending soo much, I realized I skipped some other annoying stuff that tainted my gaming time. That Journal was abysmal compare to the first two.

I was wondering if we can do something about the God-awful Mission journal after the ending fix.

Oh God, I know. They've gotten the journals right for every single game they've ever made, how could they screw it up this time? I had to resort to writing my missions down and checking things off manually. I haven't done that since I played Final Fantasy X.

Unlike Mass Effect 3, my story has multiple endings:Adakutay wrote...
...pay money for the ending...
- They don't change anything. I no longer trust Bioware to finish a story properly. I don't buy anything they make in the future until the whole series is over and I can see whether it got a satisfying conclusion.
- They stick with the star child crap and just "clarify" the current ending for free. Same.
- They stick with the star child crap and make players pay for the clarification DLC. I sever all ties with Bioware. They are dead to me.
- They give it a proper end fitting with the tone and themes of the series for free. Bioware regains respect lost from DA2 and the ME3 ending. I will try to pretend like this never happened... though probably still be less likely to preorder again.
- They give it a fitting end, but charge players for it. I'll pay for it even though I think it should have been in the game from the start. This ending further branches off in two paths. If it is a hefty chunk of DLC showing lots of work was put into it, I'll continue to buy their games but probably wait for reviews to know what I'm getting myself into. If it feels rushed or otherwise not worth the money (but fixes all/most of the current problems), I would probably still buy their games... though I would wait for them to go on sale or for a GotY edition to come out.

Good morning all, how's the line holding up? I got a message back from Chris Priestly saying that they are trying to sort out live streaming for the panel discussion at PAX. There are some technical hurdles they need to get over first but they'll let everyone know if they manage to sort it out.

"There have been a lot of embarrassing moments in video game history. The Great Crash of 1983. The Super Mario Bros. movie. The Atari Jaguar. PlayStation Home. But few will come close to the quagmire in which BioWare finds itself after the colossal disaster that is the ending of its marquee title, Mass Effect 3."

"Fans should never apologize for disagreeing with the developers of what they are fans of, whether it is BioWare and Mass Effect 3, a director and a movie, a writer and a book, a singer and music, etc. Fans are passionate about what they are fans of. If the developer disappoints a fan, for whatever reason, then this fan should be allowed to politely voice their opinion as to why they are not happy. It should not matter whether there is one fan or one hundred fans or one thousand fans who are unhappy because it matters to the individual fan. As long as that fan expresses their dislike of the material in a sensible and rational way, they should not apologize for doing so.
Now, at the same time, fans who abuse the developer (again, whether us, a movie director, a music act, etc) as a form of feedback, in my opinion, should apologize. Not for their unhappiness, but for the way they have chosen to express it. Rage, hate, swearing, spreading lies, etc are not acceptible. Sensible and rational complaints, criticism and expression of disapproval are all fine, but there is a line that can be crossed that should not be crossed when trying to be heard. When a fan uses these as their form of expression they do damage to other fans with similar concerns who have talked about their complaints in a rational manner."

I liked the idea someone had (not sure who it was) to put all of my banners into one cycling animated GIF. Someone else asked a little while ago if that person would update it to include all 42 of the current ones, so I went ahead and did it myself:
Brilliant, might make this my signature now
