Got bored, checked twitter...the "@masseffect" twitter feed is now copy/pasting replies for people commenting on the bad ending.

And what exactly are those?

"We're listening to feedback"

"More on this in April"

"Go away"

Why do I suddenly see so much hate for the theory. Honestly, I don't care either way, people can tell me rainbow freakin dash came in and made you halucinate on space dust as long as the ending gets fixed.

Like I said I neither hate nor believe it whole heartedly but I am curious on why this seems to have become such a huge problem with people.

Just finished watching the fan testimony video, now I feel depressed again. Every one of those people said exactly what we all have been saying since we completed ME3.

Though the video has definitely made my resolve to hold the line even stronger now.
I swear I will hold this line until I am the last person here (or until they fix the ending)

Video in case anyone hasn't seen it yet:

I hate it because really, it takes something that Bioware could make a huge statement with and  throws it out the window for  contrived twist ending.  Video Games have long been maligned about how they deal with war and how the characters deal with war. In the start of Mass Effect 3 when you make you character you can pick the effects that  things have taken on  Shepards. All the signs point to  Shepard  is starting to suffer from PTSD more than anything else. With all the  news coverage about soliders coming back with it  in the Media.   Imagine if they played the ending DLC straight, Shepard and crew survives but  Shepard still is suffering from PTSD and then part of the Proceeds from DLC go a charity benifiting those with  it..

Much better stament and means of redemption than Indoc Theory IMO ...

But thats why I personal hate theory.

Awwwww! *hugs* I saw a big advertisement for ME3 when I was out the other day and I nearly started crying my eyes out again, but through lots of experience I managed to hold it in. Though my heart was hurting for the rest of the day. I would also like to know why they gave us this crap they call an ending. WHY?!?

I'm not sure about the rest of the emerging hate, but I've never agreed with it. Wouldn't have said much about it, but it's just that now the discussion has become much more prominent and some people have started ramming it down others' throats and assuming direct control superiority (a little like some of us treat pro-enders, admittedly).

"At PAX, they will prove us right. Be on the winning side. Go ramble elsewhere."

OK?

Ahh, I see. Well I personally don't really see it happening at this point. If it does, fine, it happens. But if it doesn't ...:innocent:Just remember to jot down all those names of the pro Indoc theory people so you can remind them how...different...things turned out to be.:innocent::innocent::innocent:.....

Ok I've managed to depress myself again. I just finished playing through the ending of ME3 again and either I'm really slow on the uptake or I'm imagining things - did anyone else hear Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale's voices behind the Catalysts while it was speaking?

Yeah I heard it first time too....guess it kind of makes sense in a way, the glowing thing obviously took on the kid's face to make shepard feel comfortable and adding sheps voice there too makes it more...I don't really know how to explain it tbh....

Stand strong, we will hold the line.
Even if they wont pull a new ending for ME3 never forget what we had before in ME.
This are hard times for all of us but have faith that there will be the day were the pain will be gone.
There always is that day.

Fair enough, I was clearly too busy going WTF during my first playthrough to notice. I really hate that ending.

there might be a day when the pain is forgotten (time heals all wounds - but i do not want to wait for time to do it's job, even more so, as a festering wound hurts even more and all bioware seems to be doing is waiting for time...they are ATM like "ah well, they will forget and in 2 years they will buy our new product like old times" - and all that does is ****** me off!)

greetings LAX

Yeah well, not much left to say or do at this point. Except commiserate.

I just watched a video of the ending again ... aaAGHH. Even though it was muted, I've been listening to "An End Once And For All" so much that I could hear it ... and it just ... hurt.  That song was wasted on those cutscenes.

It's almost like a cult, with a weird level of assuredness to it all. I guess everyone has a different way of dealing with the endings, and convinving yourself it was something that never happened is one way to go about it. To be honest, I still hope there's a chance they're right :P
