Hey there guys, new to the movement, where can i get a fleet banner? though there is only one of me not a fleet:) I'd do it myself, but im not sure where i can get that background.

Welcome to the line!

You can get your banner here:
http://onima.org/ME3/index.php?zone=3

No Kazakhstan:(

Maybe there should be a banner with blanck space for a fleet name, so it would be easier to make banner yourself. Or sould i first report to Admiral Hackett :P

ah yes, the cupcakes get delivered today? damn timezones again..

but okay. keep this going even though we all agree with each other? hard, but let's see.

blanket question for you guys. the catalyst somehow gets transformed to an actual boy (space magic!) how would your shepard deal with the little vent brat?
(remember, just a kid.)

edit: yes. i really need coffee.

Right if the catalyst got turned into a real boy (hehe pinocchio reference) my shepard would somehow convince him to throw himself off a building or take his reapers and f**k off out of MY galaxy :D

Nooo...they're just a fringe benefit.

Massive ammounts of bludgeoning is the solution to all of life's problems...of course, it also causes other problems in the short tearm, but bludgeon enough and eventually there will be no more problems.

Bludgeoning seems so violent though, you are a strange strange person :P

Hi all. Wanted to pop in and see how everyone is. So many pages since my last visit I couldn't even read them all :-)

I am in a slightly better mood, having been able to play Assassin's Creed 2 for 6 hours yesterday (yes! 6 hours!) and having sold my old house yesterday. And having convinced myself that Assassin's Creed 3 will rock and be better than Revelations since it has been in de elopement for 3 years and isn't just a new skin slapped ove the same game... :-D

Finally got a chance to speak to a co-worker today about ME3. I asked him what he thought of it. He said it was great... until George Lucas got a hold of the ending and ruined it. Nice to see someone who isn't even part of the movement is with us.

Things are pretty decent.  It's Cupcake Thursday!    At least I think it is.  Time is going too fast and relatively slow all wrapped in one.

All of my friends(who have the game of course) don't like the ending, and they are all not part of the movement.

Exactly.

Funny how most of the world tends to apply the logic I used, though ;)  Am I making a point?  Yes ^^

Ahhh well.  If we the world would deal with their disappointment and anger they way we've done, there would be a lot of charities helped out, a lot of advancement and care because of said charities....

And more cupcakes....

My husband isn't part of the movement. He has no real emotional reaction to the ending when all is said and done. He still thinks the ending is badly done/incomplete nonsensical. He created a great xbox360 avatar mocking reaper child, and has decided to quit using gamer sites that beat up on unhappy fans due to their lack of professionalism. And he won't buy any dlc for me 3 until I'm ok with it out of deference to how upset I've been.

George Lucas was good in the 70s and 80s .although his creative steak in 80s was waining and je didn't direct anything till new trilogy.
also star wars as a film is the worse of old the "old" trilogy.
but in Return of the Jedi harrisson Ford wanted Han Solo to die! ! Even Lucas in his waining powers told him you must be joking! !!
So what we got here is writers who believed in their own infallability.
We are great! ! Lets give them artisitc ending with no emotional resonance to the game!

Ooh yes. I liked the bioware staff posting except for the one telling us (so responsibly) that we don't have to send cupcakes to get them to listen, etc, etc. it's like... I know you're being responsible but c'mon! They are CUPCAKES!!

Awww well that's good of him. My dad is annoyed with the ending, but it isn't affecting him too badly. Guess it helps that Mass Effect isn't his favourite games.

That's the thing that drives me nuts about my husband. It was (maybe still is??) his fav series but he can just say forget the endings and go back to what he was doing. I think it has to be bc he plays *so many* video games and lame endings are par for the course.

So much! We've been begging them for pictures and I really hope we get some. If nothing else, we can at least share in the fact that the Bioware fans and Retake community are a fun and good spirited bunch :)

All this mention of cupcakes has given me a serious cake craving though.

Hmm I guess, I play loads of games too but Mass Effect are one of my favourites along with Dragon Age.
I guess some people just don't get so emotionally attached to things like this you know?

Wait - an ending where Thane lives? Not that I don't love him, but... Hey, if we are going to dream, dream big, right?

I actually don't like cakes lol :P but the idea is what's so cool. I hope BioWare take it with a laugh.

I made some yesterday and haven't been able to eat them because spouse decided to be snide and play the ending again and tell me it was for inspiration for my ending rewrite.:crying: *hugs self*

But we have to be the most imaginative group of people and they always seem to make me smile with what they come up with.  You can't "speculate" that we really give a damn because the series feels like our baby as much as theirs.

Still pictures would make me smile.;)

Pretty much what ld1449 wrote. I've seen the exact same replies given to people who comment about the endings. Usually right after each other, they don't even try to switch them up any more. Yet they go out of their way to thank people who say nice things

Not many people can take criticism I guess, or maybe they just can't say anything more.
