"Betrayal" is played if you side with the Salarians over the Krogan and shoot Mordin as he's going to cure the genophage.

"Creation" is played when you're at the character creation screen before you start the game. Part of it is also played during the Geth-Quarian space battle.

Thank you very much Mr Sniper91 :)

No problem. Glad to help out another fan.

Don't accuse anyone of lying. Threads have been closed because of it. To tell the truth, I think that BW made a mistake. There's just not enough points around, and I think they may have planned to throw more around, but ran out of time. But anyhow, this could be fixed, but I would prefer the "opt-out of MP" option. I think I should be able to get the maximum just playing SP.

Sorry... It is just that I suck in the MP. :?

The closest I can come up with is this;

Just reading one of the other threads and some users are rightly pointing out that when presented with three options (of cupcakes) they chose a new 4th option and donated them while we had no such choice with the ending lol

Wow. Yeah. Quoted for bloody truth!

Yes. This.

Hey, that's fine. I suck in it too. I hate it, so I don't play it well. Never liked MP. We can just hope that BW will listen to us. And by the way, I don't think that giving us an "Opt-out of MP" optional add-on would be a problem. It would be optional! And you, me, and most everyone that does not like MP will still not play it if they don't do it.

And I don't think that not giving us the "opt-out", or we could call it: force MP so we get something else from the game, is a good strategy for BW. It's certainly not a smooth one. ;)

I just have to believe that they're up to something. This whole situation seems way too out of character for the ME team and with all the hints they keep dropping........ maybe wishful thinking but I think there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than we realize.

Just showed this to my parents neither are gamers or even sci-fi fans but they can't see any significant difference in the endings apart from the colours. Says something if non-gamers can't even have an idea of whats going on

They're definitely doing something. They've just been told by the PR guys to clam up until they can tell us what it is they're doing - whatever it is - in the most PR-friendly way possible. Makes sense from their perspective. The way things are right now, one wrong move could be a disaster for Bioware. Look at that Facebook thing a while back. They don't want a repeat, and I don't blame them.

I really hope you're right. I think I mentioned it before that it kind of reminds me about the "worst" outcome for the suicide mission, and how you really have to work at it to mess up THAT badly. To get Shepard killed at the end of the second game, it's like you have to know ahead of time how it works and purposely do EVERYTHING wrong. I think it's statistically impossible to have that happen by accident.

It seems like the same thing would be true of the ending of ME3. I want to believe that getting that much wrong in that short a time span had to be intentional. It's hard to remain hopeful about it, but I think you've got a point.

Ok, I finally submitted to give the indoctrination theory a chance....
I always got the general concept behind it ...but...I just couldn't connect the scenes we get at the end (eg. Joker escaping with the Normandy) with the theory itself. Even IF Shepard was in fact indoctrinated,...why show us these things? I mean, you get them AFTER you've made your decision. Plus, they're all the same no matter what you choose. Didn't make any sense to me.

So I gave this video a try
www.youtube.com/watch

I have to admit, if this proves to be true....talk about one hell of a mindf***!!
I'm still not in favor of the indoctrination theory BUT...I guess I COULD accept it now. Though it still has to be seen how BioWare would present this to us in a possible DLC (or whatever it's gonna be).

How should they? How would you react? I mean, they have to choose a path where they can somewhat satisfy the disappointed fans and keep their integrity. At least some of it.

Some of these are fans of "Bioware" not the game, I've seen many posts where it "seems" fans feel they have a "duty" to Bioware, but I'd ask those fans, if they feel they have a duty to Bioware, should that not involve truthful feedback so the company knows it's on the right track?

Indeed Mr. Bond, indeed. I can fully agree with this, both as a fan and gamedesigner.

I still have to laugh at the vagueness.

Am I the only one who gets a veeeeery bad feeling after seeing this?

Personally, I don't think that the ending can be explained. I don't even want it to be explained...

I have bad feeling about this too. Ech... It's exhausting. This uncertainty and waiting... :(

He makes a compelling argument in the video but even if it is all in Shepard's head I still don't get why Joker would be leaving in the Normandy. But to be fair I can see it making more sense in the sense of the Indoc theory than what we're stuck with now. I don't buy the whole thing to be honest but who knows!

I find it rather crazy how much press we're getting.. in the world of the 24-hour news cycle RetakeME3 has had consistent daily articles for going on 3 weeks now... and when PAX hits you can expect another glut of articles.  It's almost scary.  We've been hitting an almost cosmic alignment for new content that keeps the cycle going along with a lack of anything else (eg: terrorists, political scandal, alien invasion... heck we ARE the alien invasion technically)... and of course we have cupcakes... can't beat cupcakes for feel good stories ;)

I can't stop reading through the articles at work at lunch, it's almost funny how far this has gone, I'm amazed everyday haha.

See, I'm sticking with my theory that Bioware have a plan and that we just haven't been enlightened yet! But yes very exhausting in the meantime.

Yeah, I don't see how anyone could explain the ending. Would they explain why they decided to go with this ending? Because that's the only thing that's left me confused. Or would they elaborate on how everyone on Earth is mostly screwed? That doesn't really need an explanation though... most of us have come to that conclusion.
