So we can't get the ending we want after all?

1: A bunch of kids at a shelter got a special treat today with a whole lot of cupcakes. That very well could've made their day.
2: Bioware kept the fan messages.
Them physically eating the cupcakes isn't important at all in the long run. Them getting fan messages (some of which were pretty good, I thought) and needy kids getting a treat for the day is.

As far as the cupcakes, I think everyone should be happy about two things:

Plus! we got some coverage for a small business owner in the process. Its a tri-win!

thanks for posting that, it was uplifting
Hahaha that was funny.
I didn't expect it would get that much publicity. But I guess I was wrong.

Perhaps I should step away from the caffiene for a minute. I'm a caffiene junkie. XD
Any have the link to thread that tells what they said, or pics of the cupcakes?
http://assumingcontrol.wordpress.com/
Here's the new article link! We're moving everything so the old linkage will be limited to what's on it. We were just starting and had yet to buy a domain or have a decent layout heh but we worked on that today. As a BSNer >.> and addicted to bioware I post lots about it heh.

That's why they have the Re-EAducation camps. For those pesky rebellious staff
They could have said "Thanks for the cupcakes! They were delicious, keep an eye for us at PAX East. Hope to have exciting news" and I guarantee this forum would have been YAY news \\o/ We
Instead they turned it into a protest of our protest of their endings (which is what angers me most)... they're not fooling anyone saying we weren't constructive in our criticism... we sent them cupcakes... not pipebombs, how much more CIVIL and Courteous do we have to be? We just want a game that feels like it was complete and had the effort put into the ending that the rest of the game did.
As I said earlier.. it's equivalent to a response from a customer service rep: Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciated your criticism, especially those mints you gave us. By the way we gave those mints away because you weren't saying good things about us.
.... then again, I'm asking for reasonable thought processes from a company that gave us Citadel Kid
... man I need to rethink my entire thought process now. wow.

So which color did they pick?
Answer: none of the above. They donated them to a local charity.
Hey, Bioware! That fourth option, the "none of the above" one? Yeah, we want THAT for the color-coded endings too. Please.

Is there no other developer to go worship?
And there is. One of them is in my back yard (Bethesda) and I can totally wander around Skyrim amazed for 120 hours per character no problem. And ever game really is different. A dragon came out of nowhere at one point and started fighting a horse. The horse ran in front of me while I was shootin an arrow, so the arrow hit the horse. Horses are people's property and you get in trouble for messing with others' property. So after I killed the dragon they put me in jail. It was totally organic feeling and wouldn't happen again if I played 5 characters. :-P
Remind you of any story, btw? Kill the big bad guy, go to prison for how you did it? :-D
