Oh I completely want them to use the indoctrination theory at this point. I don't care if its their idea all along, only fan idea, whatever, anything to make that ending not really have happened. (I think it's quite ballsy and have some thoughts if they have done this on purpose, but whatever at this point.). And agreed, it would be a nice way to "explain" things that happened due to time/resources, and so yeah... :-) I just wondered if I was too picky in my attempt to personally distance myself from ME3 because I just loathe the ending. Or if those were good points too that I would have just totally ignored (happily so!) if not for the ending.
But you know, I wouldn't mind the fact that Shepard hallucinated the Anderson part. It would just show how much his opinion meant to Shepard in the end.
I would have totally accepted the game if it ended there, even. Staring out at Earth, watching the battle Shepard had worked so hard to give organics a chance in, finally being able to lay down the mantle and have *others* do the job...
