Track 22, An End Once and For All is a beautiful piece of music, but also one of the most depressing pieces because it's tied to the worst ending I've seen in 25 years of video games.

I love the track though, but it hurts to listen to it on such an emotional level that I can't play it very often.

That is why I refuse to listen to the soundtrack myself! It's great music - but brings bad bad memories!!

i like track 17, Stand Strong Stand Together, and yea i like that one too but its hard to play it/listen to it

I was trying to figure out how they could reasonably make Indoctrination Theory into a 'real' ending today and decided having Shepard wake up only to find out Anderson was still dead would be rather horrible. 

"Anderson's gone Shepard."
"But I just talked to him on the Citadel!" 
"No Commander, he died in the Reaper blast.  And we've been trying to wake you ever since.  No one made it to that beam."

And then Harbinger says something mocking and Shepard proceeds to kick his ass with a vengence in an epic boss battle involving all the races you've pulled to your side throughout the game.  For Anderson!  For the galaxy! 

*sigh*  Anyway, back to reality. 

Oh sweet, I just made up a fantasy so I wouldn't have to deal with the reality of my fantasy game.  It's now officially time for bed.

I may be a little late, but I just finished the game and WOW it really was THAT BAD. I didn't want to believe it but dear God that was horrible. How did they think this was a suitable ending? I....just.....::sigh:: screw you bioware

1 week later- "What do you mean they don't get it? There were virtually no plot holes, i went back and checked that napkin you wrote the endings on at the bar 2 weeks before launch day and its still amazing! They have to be missing the bigger picture here....." hahaha

I found reviews with opinions like  these to be helpful.  They don't change the endings, but it's good to know you aren't crazy and you aren't alone in how you feel.

This is actually a really good question. I guess the only answer I personally can give is that I told my best friend about the ending and she thought it was non-sensical too. 
(She isn't a gamer)

Ahh pity. Would be interesting to hear his opinion on the ending. We may still get that chance if nothing good happens at PAX I guess.
