ME1, ME2... Sadly ME3.... Also reading lots of FemShep/Liara Fanfics... which I seem to have finished every single one that I've found so far, so now I'm writing my own, as well as just reading in general, plus I go back to college next week.

Mmm that's right you like to torture yourself with replaying ME3 :P and well maybe when you go back to college it will help take your mind off ME3's ending?

Hopefully, if not I'll just try and get drunk off of Root Beer... I've no clue how that's going to work but we've got like 4 or 5 mini Root Beer kegs in the place right now... :whistle:

NieR:Gestalt.  Graphically its not pretty, but the story is good.  Not many plot holes.  4 distinct endings.  You feel like an @ss on your second playthrough (and third and fourth) because you get the other side of the story.  Touching sidequests.  A killer soundtrack.  Character interactions are awesome so is the banter.  But man... depressing.:crying:

I been replaying ME2 tonight to just try to get the bitter taste of star boy out of my mind. Yet I noticed something. I see that at least half of Shep's heart is now synth parts. It makes me wonder what's up with the breath ending. I know a little off topic but still what was Bioware thinking?!?

space magic fixed it as he was falling to earth at terminal velocity, good stuff that space magic not as good as coffee but good Image IPB

Coffee....something I should avoid for SSV Sechelt over and out!

PS3 and 360.

It's a JRPG, so I don't know if that'll put you off.  But SE (they published) had two versions made NieR:Replicant was the Japanese version w/ a 16 year old character.  NieR: Gestalt was the US version with a father.

There's a lot of philosophical talk, but you aren't beat over the head with it.  It's part of the story progression and it fills in a lot of the gaps as it progresses.  By your second playthrough you'll be kicking yourself when you realize what you are doing.

@Major Swift

Thank you!  I've been working on Chapter 3 tonight.  Just trying to find the proper pacing.  I hate when that happens sometimes.:pinched:

That video can't hurt but I think our fate is more in the hands of EA than BW. Right now EA is looking if BW and ME3 will show a proper return of investment and if a new ending DLC would bring their numbers back up and maybe pad out what they lost. Its sadly not about emotion but about the all mighty dollar. I get the strong feeling BW left EA dangerously out of the loop as to what they had planned and now Dad has come home to survey the damage.

That would be a first. Remember EA broke their DAII.

EA is more like an abusive father. Making impossible demands and smacking the smaller children around.   The same could be said of their customers. There is the abuse, then the gifts.

The analagy may be a tad hyperbolic, but EA has a bad track record. You be the judge.

To get over the ending I've started to play Alpha Protocol, though granted that's a Youtube kinda thing. But it's really pretty cathartic, to be able to play a similar "pick your response" kind of game after and just being a massive nihilistic jerk to everyone because ME ruined you on feeling like any of your choices matter. :D

I can't but help hold it up to Mass Effect in terms of quality, which is totally unfair. But I agree, it's a pretty fun romp. The starting "tutorial" is way too long though, like eesh! Sure hope AP has a better ending than ME3, at least. :P

The very same.  Knocked by critics for its dated graphics and somewhat clunky controls, but the story...  while sad is good.  And its only a direct sequel to ending... 5... It takes place immediately after the dragon falls through and everyone is dying.  Then it takes place 1300 years later.

I've actually been listening to the intro for part of the nighth. I loves it!:wub:
