So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I think the correct lines should be;
Shepard; Who built you?
Sovereign; THERE IS A REALM OF EXISTANCE SO FAR BEYOND YOUR OWN, YOU CAN NOT EVEN IMAGINE IT
Shepard; Let me guess, its in Alberta?

Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell

I thought Ash quoted Tennyson.
that was me1, shep returns the favour in 3.
its was a part that bioware got right, charge of the light brigade( horses and swords against cannon) it was at that point i got all exited thinking were going to win, it'll hard but we'll win.
edit: spelling

I have personally warned every customer in my store that, while 99.8% of the game is amazing, a majority of fans and consumers are disappointed with the ending.
By being there for friends when the post game symptoms started. It was/ is a hard job trying to keep spirits up, and the eye twitching down but nothing a funny video or Karaoke can't fix.
Yep that's how I roll baby.

Same goes for me. They don't even have to say exactly what I want to hear as long as they tell us what the skinny on this whole situation is.RussianOrc wrote...

PS if we get the cookie cutter we're working on a number of projects that will be satisfying for our fans response, I have one heck of a post pre-written and saved on word. I want to delete it so bad.

Any attempt to brush the issue off or stall for more time would be an act of corporate suicide. As would 'explinations' of the ending or paid ending DLC.

My thoughts exactly. It's cruel to include all the talk about the future and then rob every character of one.
Garrus is why I got into ME in the first place (art on dA made my interest in the game peak after it came out). He is also one of the biggest reasons I'm so upset with the **** ending...

Yes. I do believe that going on stage and saying: "We have exciting news about a new game", or "The new SWToR content", or anything but the ME3 ending will be terrible. They may be booed off the stage or something.
And the game fans will be very angry around here...

Although i am in total agreement with you ( and my own list of games drops to zero ),
i see something here.. We buy the Beginning for 20-40 bucks, and then
buy whatever DLC ( say out of ten or twenty different DLCs co-released with the game ) we want to play.. Since DLC and play
would be extremely individual, no two versions of the game could ever be
the same, and we could all have exactly the game we want.

It might be better than being fed vanilla pablum and being told to enjoy it or take a flying leap.. I mean, really, what we want is choice; choice throughout the game, choice of weapons character, clothing decisions, and the ending.. Trying to mold a monolithic design where the story is given and you or I simply follow along, doesnt cut it. It casnt be done, thats why monoliths are monoliths.. But a maleable format could be created where you could take the game anywhere with everything you wanted, and still have a great ending..
