I never played it so I am not sure but if you ask me some developers are getting bold in the wrong way. Their should never be a dlc that tells the "True Ending". If ending needs to be change, change it but cutting off part of a game that completes it which I am expecting when I pay for it is just retarded.

I'm quite sure that if they didn't charge for it later, at least it was an example of an ending (a "true ending") released later.

Now that you say it... But it didn't feel like that, at least not for me.

Length of the expansion was acceptable and there were lots of little changes compared to the main game.

If a company changes or removes its ending for profit, thats artistic integrity and completely cool.

But If a company changes the ending for the fans and loyal customers then thats a violation of art.

If PAX doesn't bring us the news we want and deserve then I think we should all hold a candle lit vigil for BW before they go the way of all under performing EA subsidiaries.

I think we're beyond that.  EA's going to feel the wrath of the community through direct economic action if this isn't fixed

I go back a long time I'm talking back when classic Mega Man and later when X or Breath of Fire was about. Ya I'm an old gamer. As I said I haven't bought any of their stuff in a long time.

BioWare wont give you the endings you requier. They are more intrested in MP maps and the new Command and Conquer they are making for the EAlords.

theres diffrent teams in bioware for diffrent projects, the star wars team
mass effect team
dragon age team and so on
the team making the C&C game was recently moved into bioware offices so its not MP only, we were promised new content which was NOT on there list and now they have to stick to there promises

I am just going from past experience with DA2. That was a realy bad game poorly written as well with minimal choices. Maybe not the same team that did ME3 but same company and same attitude to its customers.
One of DA devs said to dissgruntled fans "Deal with it."

BioWare are showing signs of the same vien as SOE did when they implemented the NGE to SWG MMO which killed the game within a week. Since then it has been dying slowly until last year when the servers closed. Not the same company, but same attitude to its customers.
