This will go down as the worst ending in any video game franchise, and they copied it!
Kind of premature to say when you have no knowledge of the specifics.
But you said it so it must be true.
Indeed.

Not entirely true, sometimes you get off with a hefty fine or if they're really generous just a cease and desist letter.GSS115 wrote...

TTTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
What we are witnessing is Biowares feint against the pirates.
http://www.cracked.c...th-pirates.html
There's the reference.
You pirate the game, YOU GET NOTHING, YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY SIR.
Meanwhile Bioware is feeding into Xio's statments with their silent consent. Not to mention that that is a blatant NDA violation. They are torturing us for wanting to know ahead of time how it can end.
I've killed lies like this on the way to real problems.
At least I hope. And to you cynics that hate on people like me. The only thing you got is hearsay and 2nd hand vids. And if you want to beleive in the Internet you go right ahead.
I still have some hope that you are right...
Except for the whole "people with the legitimate game in their hands" part. Yeah, Space Edition...not one of BW's best ideas. Then again, apparently they've had worse...
What part about NDA (NON-DISCLOSURE-AGREEMENT) do people not understand. You talk about the game=you get a lawsuit.

Why wasn't she the chef for the Normandy? DLC opportunity!
Have you seen Paula Deen's cooking? It's bad enough by the end of ME3 Shep has had gene therapy, (potentially) tech cybernetic and eezo node implants, and muscular, ocular, dermal, adrenal, nervous implants to boot no matter what. The last thing s/he needs is a quadruple bypass and a pacemaker.
I can see gameplay now:
<Renegade Interrupt>: HNNNGGG---
CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE

Does anyone else think they're just done making story DLCs, and are going to do MP map packs?
1 ME3 side mission = 1 MP Map?
They will make a killing.

Problem is that the people talking about the game didn't sign an NDA, except that tester. Unless you signed a legal document, the NDA doesn't apply.

I will freely admit it... I was a dope for spoiling the end of the game before I got it... But dangit, I wanted to see what would happen! So I look in the forums and wow, all I see is bittersweet garbage. I know it's war and war has casualties. And I get this is the more realistic and that if there was a heavy price to be paid, but I REALLY wanted a happy ending for Shep and the galaxy. I wanted to fly in all Independence Day-style and beat the Reapers with the shear number of ships and people that the galaxy had and Shep meets up with his/her LI and celebrate on the Citadel. Yes, I wanted the Hollywood ending. But only one of them. Was it really too much to ask for? I know it's easy and cliche, but I really invested a lot of time trying to make sure everything went "perfectly" for Shep's final curtain call.
I'm still be keeping my pre-order because I have to see it with my own eyes. There's still a tiny piece of hope still left that I may get some of what I want. And who knows? In the end I may come to understand BioWare's swan song for Shepard. But I don't have to like it.

This guy gets it.

That would just drive the final storyless MP nail in ME's coffin.

Yeah, troll people into wanting to not buy your game and ripping on your franchise. Generate negative hype before launch. Spectacular marketing decision. Again, if they knew pirates were going to get it anyways, why wouldn't they want to generate good hype/publicity instead of it being torn to shreds? And since when does winning a copy of the game to play it early count as pirating it?

How about you jump to your conclusions on the ending once the game is released and not based on a script leak that is months old? Personally, bioWare would be shooting itself in the foot if there was no "happy" ending.
It should be difficult as heck to get, because you're fighting Reapers, not your kittens. If it's too easy to get (like "No one left behind, got it on my first run through") then it's pointless. Bittersweet? I would accept that.
Adds a replayability to it if you want your perfect ending. There has to be some consequences somewhere, this game is based on choices, options and morality. If you cut corners and expect the perfect ending, you're in for a surprise.
If there is no happy ending, I'm sure BioWare is expecting a trove of hate from the fans and maybe a huge drop in their profits because no one is going to keep buying their games if they emotionally invest players for 8+ years just to troll them. Would be a bad business move.
I need my happy ending, but I expect to work for it and I hope I'm not disapointed on how to obtain it. Even if I have to replay the damned game over and over and suffer through horrid heartbreak until I find the ending I'm happy with.
The same people who thought when facing the last bad guy, drawing your gun and aiming at him in slow motion while your screen is bloody red is so cool and innovative it should be used in all games.Aceattack wrote...

About 20 minutes in he talks about wanting a satisfying ending , there is no one any where that believes a satisfying ending would be the whole universe goes to hell.
