It takes time to set up the webpage with all the embedded videos etc? Either that or the purpose is to have us all talking about it - Bioware seem to enjoy winding people up at the moment.

Thank you! Had to switch from my phone to a laptop. To be completely honest, when the music came on and the pop ups started flashing, it really gave me a fright.  Loved FemShep though! Nice touch!

But, really, it just looks like a hub for everything Mass Effect related on the internet. They just decided to make it really fancy.

i scrolled over like 3 dozen diffrent "tweets" and the tiny url's are ALL EXACTLY THE SAME so yeah its fake

also some of the pictures are ........... disatsful, found one with a kid bent over a bed in a suggestive manner.

some of the pictures are from valves HL2 gmod
if you spend some time you'll find a GTA4 picture

1 of the "tweets" contain racist remarks
some of the pictures show places we have not scene in any of the current games or DLC.

theres a naked lirara picture there
a reskined tali the apperance we dont have yet.
theres some beta pictures in there
also look for the burning biush picture of miranda

oh they have an unmasked tail there but the face has been blurred out on purpose

Did I say they announced anything? No....

And I find it highly unlikely that they would put alllll the negative crap being said about ME3 on their homepage....especially if its April Fools....that would be in awful taste...and they are already reeling from the current backlash....they wouldn't make more waves to get more negative flack..that's not logical in any way whatsoever....that's like playing recordings of all the bad sh*t people said about a person, at said persons funeral....

Maybe you're one of those people that are bitter about the possibility of being Fooled...

Maybe you're just a pessimist?

Either way I don't get my hopes up nor do I let it decide what I believe....I see things from neutral perspective and use common sense to form my determinations....

Common sense says they wouldn't plaster negative comments from all over the internet, onto their homepage just for a laugh....

Off the top of my head I'd say it's trying to centralize all points of information for us so we don't miss something important and rage over it.  Dark side of that is it gives them a minute amount of control back over the message lol

It's a random bot scrape, the bot is given simple rules and keywords then it's sent on it's merry way to scrape websites, on finding anything relevant to the keywords it places them on that page.

well the piccy i posted i said would make an awesome tali picture as for the horns, look more carfully, its like flexiable flesh.

but tali i would do a mix of the assari, a bit of turian and maybe just maybe a bit of korgan, which is you look at that picture ALMOST has em all.

everyone seems to think she has purple skin tho, every fan pic i see has her in purple skin with some black lines and a much more human look.

tali to me would have the skin texture of a salarian because of her life in the suit would make there flesh semi soft, but when it goes back to a normal flesh like texture for there speices i think she will have hair but due to it not being exposed to sunlight i think it would be an almost albino white colour.

the glowing effect of her eyes i think is the reflective cornea as her suit mask has a hud built in so the light from it which is facing inwards could in effect make her eyes seem to glow.

for all we know the quarian could be a feline like race

The picture contained too many traits that point towards a predator species, where quarians pretty much does not fill any requirements to be a predator species, they're too fragile, but all of this doesn't matter anyways  the picture of her in the game is cannon, then all of us can interpret it as we see fit.

The new frontpage for ME is probably just an aprils fools joke that came out a little early, it looks pretty cool though

Having finally been able to actually SEE the new community communications center:

It looks to me like it's just a mash of all of the data and probably a landing page for new -official- announcements.  It could very likely have the live stream of the EA PAX Event here... will probably have priority overlays of new announcements by official press releases...etc..  This is basically to keep the speculation down and the message on track... and I completely applaud it.. It was obviously thrown together fast (probably in the last few days) since it doesn't seem to like Internet Explorer 9 or SeaMonkey much (had to install Firefox and reinstall flash to get it to show up) which means they've even brought their web marketing team in on this.

Hold the line everyone.  I see this as good signs.  More than likely they're going to release something that everyone will like at PAX or they wouldn't be pushing so much to get an official line.

The cynic in me still would like to ask the following: We may find that their patience runs out if we don't yell "Yay Bioware " in mass unison after their announcement..   The chances of that at this point are so remote but I still feel it necessary to prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.

I would suggest that everyone here find a non-ea method of communications.. be that twitter, facebook's RetakeME3 page...etc.  Just realize that if we're cut off here that we DO have other methods of communication.  Cybermortis has offered her forums as a backup as well.. I'd suggest everyone keep that link handy if she still is offering it.

I'm definitely not a major part of this movement but you're welcome to follow me @Computim on twitter.. I don't exactly know the whole twittersphere rules/ediquette all the time but if something happens I'd be happy to retweet stuff from our official spokespeople... I also enjoy watching the whole HarbyTheReaper tweets.. that guy just cracks me up.  Heck.. worst case I make some new friends on there since you guys have been incredibly awesome on here!
