It can be annoying honestly, unless you're drunk too XD. I dunno if I'd call those good genes... maybe they're really serving you water and you just don't know it! lol. That's amazing though, never heard of anyone just not being effected by it... heard of people not liking it but not being uneffected by it.

Vvveerrryy interesting *rubs chin*

No effects that I have noticed. Obviously I would never drive etc after drinking, since if nothing else, reaction time suffers (though as some 'drink and do Soul Calibur tournaments' have proved, not greatly) AND it's illegal. But other than that, nothing, I don't turn more social, I don't slurr, I'm not happier or sader than usual, my deduction works just fine, as does my memory and motoric skills.

I suppose if I continued drinking all night, biology would throw in some effects, but so far I've never really seen the point, since I feel like I don't get anything out of the deal :P There have been occasions when I have been clubbing, and thus drinking and dancing nearly all night, and that didn't do anything so....

/// Or maybe I just drink wrong. That's another possibility.

I'm fine with nothing dangly. But frankly I have never seen the turian=bird connection, even though I have known they were based on birds throughout all the games. I just can't see it, they look alien to me, more alien than any other race as a matter of fact.

Didn't they say the bird reference was based on the old dinosaur bird theory, being that their inspiration was the theory that raptors had feathers and such, I think I remember them talking about it like that at least, makes more sense to me as I find they have a lot of dinosaur traits

It is not theory it is fact that many dinosaurs had feathers.
And also since some years birds are considered as a subclass of the dinosaurs.

Any change I might be able to tie this with English Philology so I could do my master's paper on it? That'd be cool. And totally unscientific and unhelpfull in general, but cool nevertheless B)

That is sssooo weird... maybe you Finns just don't know how to drink! XD... though that's unlikely, plenty of Finns at the metal clubs I go to and they drink me under the table.

Maybe the Dwarf/Turian love you were describing earlier really just sobers you up... I know it'd certaintly sober me up lol and not in a good way.

"Professor, what do you mean it's not close enough to my major just because it happens to be in English? Internet is English!"

Then again, I have one professor who showed us Japanese Hip Hop during lecture from youtube, because apparently it was relevant to the subject at hand. So that might just fly. ;)

I guess I'll hit the bed now, no fun coughing just sitting, you have to lie down to make it really hard and painfull.
Nighty night, stand fast, stand strong, shoot Trolliaus on sight, they're not endangered enough, but bear in mind, their saliva is corrosive and bite infectious, hold the line.

Just poking in again. I tend to show up every 500 pages on this thread just to continue to show my support. I hope things are still going well-- Bioware doesn't seem like it really wants to do much about this for the moment.

I suspect Pax will be the time when they come out to see what sort of reception the ending got from a "friendlier" audience. There's a very real chance they'll allow Pax to determine whether or not they must fix the ending.

My thoughts are unchanged. My reaction to the current ending is, and will forever be:

Even better, there is news on there about the Avengers film. I'd forgotten about that in all the post ME3 depression...hopefully Avengers will live up to its hype.

And, oh yes there is another reason for me to be cheerful about the film. I live in the UK, and so I'll get to see it 9 days before its on release in North America :P

Looking forward to it, the trailer always makes me laugh:

"Uh, genius billionaire playboy philanthropist."

Indications, and a degree of common sense, indicate that Bioware WILL almost certainly be adressing the ending at PAX - not to do so would be suicidal for the company. As to what they will say...that is unknown. However the general feeling looking at tweets from some of Biowares staff who will be there, plus Bioware indicating that they intend to setup a webcast of their appearance, is that they seem to think whatever they have to say will be recieved well.

Make of that what you will.

I dunno tbh it's either going to go one way or it's going to another way, and which ever way that is I just hope we are all prepared for the reaction.

I strongly suspect that the first thing they will talk about IS the ending. We do know that they have a MP DLC in the works, and probably ready to shove out of the virtual door, but even the dummest PR guy/girl would point out that trying to talk about that when everyone really wants to know about how they are going to deal with the fan-reaction to the ending would be...well...It wouldn't win them any friends.

I'd expect them to either tease everyone there, by saying they do have a statement to make...towards the end. Or to deal with it straight off and get it out of the way. Both have risks, teasing people who are somewhat unhappy might make them less receptive to what-ever else you might want to say/sell first. Dealing with the issue first could backfire if the news is badly received.

If they are going to change/replace the current ending I'd expect a general statement as to what changes would be made - nothing too specific so as not to spoil things. I'd also expect a rough date as to when it is likely to be released, rather than a specific day, unless they are well along the development of such a DLC. They would most likely also indicate if such a DLC will be free or something that has to be paid for. .

As for the Q&A...without knowing exactly what they intend to say or reveal or for that matter quite how it is going to be handled I can't say. I'd expect that if an ending DLC is announced they will try to answer all of the questions when they make the statement.

Regardless of what they say. I'll be happy this will be the last I'll have to deal with Bioware.

unless the "ending" dlc is free. Then is over for ALOT of their customer base.
Either way closure to this dark chapter in videogame history and move on. Remembering Bioware for what it was once.
