BTW, Debi, "In A Gadda Da Vida" is only 17 minutes long, not 30.

Eh... That seemed kind of like an ametuer exsplosion... <_<

I was holding it back, honestly. If it had been a real explosion it would have been curse-laden, mostly in caps and italics, questioned the victim's lineage, and had at least one in-depth (frame-by-frame) torture threat along with telling them off for whatever set me off.

But, you know, the new Terms of Service? Kinda stops me from really going off for ya'lls entertainment (and horror)

Can anyone confirm the relays actually blowing up on the control ending? They look like they're going to, but when you really look at it they aren't show actually exploding like in the other endings. What gives? Is control actually the best considering the relays may not actually explode and the Citadles intact?

Either way I still don't like it, just curious because there may actually be a decent ending for the universe as a whole, not just Shepard.

Touche! Now is Kashmir longer? Can't seem to recall at this moment?
BTW, IRL I actually do resemble my avatar...so that technically makes me a she...though, Asari are monogendered. Not saying I'm monogendered...oh, nevermind!

What I find weird is that the Citadel explode. How does metal, almost impenetrable with the best weaponary explode?
Did the color explosion change the structure of the metal?
Or maybe it is from internal explosions, still seems unlikely.

They blow up into lovely pieces that fly off through the space magic, at least they did for me and I got the "breath scene".

You are talking about the destroy ending while the one you quoted is talking about the control ending.

They definitely look like they're going to. Maybe it's just the impact of the magic beam, I don't know. It makes a bit of sense that they wouldn't explode given that Shepard is assuming control of rather than destroying the Reaper tech, but then who knows what that beam is doing.

Good morning everyone (at least its morning in my place).

Back to hold the line.

We finally got April :P

So do You think Bioware will give anything specific on PAX or update will come later this month ?

PAX, otherwise they'll be in the hole as far as sales goes... Well they're already in the hole, but the sales might pick back up again if they announce that they're going to actually fix the endings.

Yeah, they still blow up, here's a link to a video:

You can see it happen at around 3:15 to 3:21. It definitely looks like it's gonna go kaboom, even if you don't see the pieces flying afterwards.

Definitely PAX. They've already got a booth, they've said they'll try to livestream it, and most of the fanbase has grabbed that date like a drunken, overboard sailor grabs at driftwood. It would be a boon for BioWare's rep to go with it and announce their plans the day the fans are expecting it, within knife-throwing range of said angry fans.

Ok, admit it, which one of you gals/guys are playing Path of Exile? I decided to play a bit in the open stress test (I don't have a beta key yet), to forget about the horrible endings for ME3. There is a barbarian class which is called the Marauder, so I obviously I tried naming him Marauder Shields. And somebody is already using that name :P

Morale low, but holding the line.

EDIT: WORST. TYPO. EVER.

That would be good. I just "prepared" my patience for waiting till PAX and I'd hate to wait longer.

While I was lurking for past few days I came across link to one of Forbes articles.

The author (do not remember the name) said that if Bioware planned to released post-ending DLC it was rather logical to prepare 3 similar endings. It is way simpler to implement that kind of DLC and its scripts if You compare it with what it could take to implement the same DLC if endings were totally different.

That was just one of many arguments through last few weeks that - if Bioware acts are based on logic and plan - makes me optimistic.

Sorry to speculate but I could immagine the conversation at the Bioware HQ.

"So who should go to PAX?"

"Casey's always gone to these things in the past."

"Yea, lets try alternatives that arent going to get shanked in the parking lot. Or have a shoe thrown at them on stage."

Well this is what has kept me positive. There must be something going on or they must have some kind of plan because this seems way too strange from Bioware otherwise. Especially from the ME team who have created such brilliant games and have been promising all these different endings.

My thoughts exactly :)

I'm sure they follow carefully prepared PR/marketing plan. There is no other rational explanation.

There is no point in maintaining silence, unless one wants to make people more angry.

Sometimes I even wonder if Dr. Muzyka's statement about Bioware being surprised by fans outcry are true. They must have predicted that.

I was not joking Mr. Bond, because alternate explanation is this - they deliberately destroyed franchise, pissed of fanbase and made customers to carefully choose whether they buy Bioware's products again.

I imagine that they were taken aback by the scale of outcry, but not the outcry itself. And why maintain silence? I just do not believe they are using antic roman "turtle" tactics, if You know what I mean.

We can only believe what we see, and it seems obvious they want this problem to dissapear at minimal cost.

I have no idea what they are upto, but if this was some kind of PR stunt, I hope they got plenty of space magic up their sleeves, they are going to need it.

Sure it LOOKS like it. But it clearly doesn't show it. I'm just wondering. Maybe everyone isn't doomed?

Still extremely miss leading... Speculation for everyone right?
