True, you can argue almost anything as long as you can make a compelling argument. Though if you run out of time you can always go and get 3 sheets of colored paper, with 3 different conclusions that have absolutely nothing to do with your argument and then tell your teacher that the rest will follow at a later date once you have listened to all feedback?Atrocity wrote...

I did always wonder how some students kept saying how they could sleep until x and then go out and party until x and then worry about work the night before. I always had a stupid amount of work and I speed read! I think we must be missing a trick here......
Deliberately under-achieving? Too bad they frown upon space magic conclusions and abstracts in uni, or we could take a leaf out of ME3 ending book, instead of doing a ton of research and coming to a logical conclusion based on that <_<
Though personally I feel that symbolistic analysis of any written work is kinda space magic-ey, since you can argue almost anything and say 'hey, it's symbolic!'. A case in point: RGB-ending.
See, now this post is not off-topic.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Sir or Madam, would you kindly remove the religious claptrap from this thread, before you spark a "riot" over religion. We do not want to have this thread locked down, and while I'm sure you've made a valid point, I would like us to not cause fights among ourselves, it weakens us as a whole and makes us look bad to press. We have an image to keep up, and that is of a civil movement, that is well coordinated and has almost little to no in fighting. With your comment you could possibly spark something that could be disasterous to not only those of us who post in this thread, but to the unity of the movement as a whole. Thank you~! You have this one warning, otherwise I'll resort to more darastic measures.
(sorry if I'm repeating myself)

Well Mike Gamble said that they have a lot to discuss with us. To be fair Lance Henriksen has been in the business a long time so he should be pretty good at judging fans and their responses.
I don't think I've ever actually had goulash. Sounds yummy though.

I never mentioned this essay is also a project-writing excersize, did I?
With a writing workshop, followed by peer-editing and post-return analysis? So in theory, I could do that.
As tempting as that sounds, it might still be straining my teacher's friendly nature a bit too much though.
And I actually have some legit arguments on "Hills like White Elephants as a description of a relationship: minimalistic technique at play". IF I just had some sort of 'yeah, ok, write about that' email from my teacher, I'd be typing already, since a draft doesn't need to be even that coherent (4 page draft, final version should be 6 pages long, double spacing, Times New Roman 12 and all that jazz) and the essay isn't that long, nor is the story.
I just loath the idea of doing work, since I always try to exceed myself, and having it be thrown out of the nearest window the next day.
You hear that Bioware? I have actually put more time in ME than my uni essays, and I loath the idea of all my work having been in vain!

The religious content was not offensive in my opinion. It actually goes with one of the funny pictures presented here today.
People react in different ways, some are harder than others, but resorting to religion - if done gently and properly - shouldn't spark riots or fights on this forum, I guess.
You are are right though when it comes to risk of having this thread closed.

While it may not spark riots perse, it still will cause emnity, at a time when we can ill afford ourselves the luxury of differences. We have to stand as a united front against what BioWare has done, not as a farctured and disorganized rabble. Religion has always been a touchy subject, it's not one that can be thrown about casually, since in the past men have fought wars over who's interpritaion of religion was "right".

*sarcasm* Quick break out the torches and pitchforks! We march on *insert some place* as soon as everyone's got what they want~! *end sarcasm* Of course it always starts wars and riots, just look at the world today, and tell me that half the conflicts aren't religiously motivated. The other half are either petty squabbles, or they're becasue of differing political views.

I wouldn't count on it. In order to address properly all the crap that they have done in ME3 - from the quest journal, up to and including the entire last fight + ending on Earth - they should release a fully 2-3GB of additional content for free!
And EA would never be willing to spent all the money needed to make something like that. Therefore the only thing that might be addressed, is some part of the ending, probably a "what happens after" DLC that we will, of course, have to pay for.
I hope that I will be proven wrong on this, but not likely.

Do we have a forum support group for that? ME OCD anonymous? Between ME and ME2... So yeah, I basically have done couple complete reruns with my main char alone, after something as serious as a news report heard on background on ME2, about the asari escort retiring due to rumours. I thought '****, that woman, I knew I forgot something', then went and did ME again, only to realise that it didn't change that news report in the slightest

YES!!!!!!!!!! >.< Cause if I don't... I'm not sure what will happen.... I want my little blue children, a promotion, and possibly a cushy pad on a beach. Maybe on Ranoch, so that Aunt Tali will be close by with her drones to look after the kids if my Shep and Liara want to do some stuff without the kids.

That is my worst fear when it comes to ME 3. Clarification and closure DLC feels like the waste of time and money. I hope EA knows it by now.
I do not know really know how much money and resources is needed to create truly worthy endings, but DLCs we got so far for other games were sometimes 1-1,5 GB. Even if "repairing" ME 3 would take 3 GB I think they can pull it off.

I'm actually feeling optimistic, like Bioware could have a real endings planned all along, and them getting released after PAX and whatnot. Though this uncharacteristic optimism is probably just lack of oxygen in my brain, since last time I looked outside in the eye was last Wednesday.chujwamdotego wrote...

Yeah, happy-ending was also my dreamed way of ending Shep's story. I hoped for pink children though...
It is not too much to ask, is it? I mean, we are Bioware's moneygivers. I still do not understand why would they want us to be on their bad side.

If they release something that's 2-3 GB's I;m gonna have to buy yet another memoery stick for my 360... a 4 GB Hardrive with one 8GB memory stick, and a 16GB memory stick... v,v yeah I was cheap and bought the 4 gig, when I should have bought the 250GB....
