Not sure if the above has been posted before or if it's some sort of elaborate april fools but amazon uk is no longer selling copies of ME3. Anyone know what's going on?!!?

that is legit, amazon recived a vast amount of refund requests and amazon was given a long list of legit complaints all of which were backed up.

this is not the only product thats had this treatment MANY EA games have recived this in the past

Damn, that must have hurt EA a bit  Wallets - the best pressure point of any corporation...

has enyone else noticed that after "the end", when you continue by the cerb base your save file time goes backwards as if you have not done anything after that point.

There's gotta be something else coming. You're also supposed to get a message from one of your squadmates on the iPad datapad app after you finish the game. I was trying to see if I could get it but the thing isn't loading properly for me. Still........

You know, in times like these I've always wondered, what if Jak 3 had a crappy ending?

Do you reckon the surprise that Dr. Muzyka's statement mentions is more that they were suprised by the level of unhappiness at the ending? Do you think they were expecting more people to see "the hints" and wait patiently for what was coming next?

It just takes you back to the point before you started the final assault as an entry-point for DLC.

If you want to be ultra pessimistic, even the game is telling you that what you just did (the ending) was meaningless and not worth recording.

Morning? Afternoon? everyone... not sure, sinus infection has head messed up. Going back a few hours, I have been here every day to hold the line, I'm just kinda quiet about it, unless I get a burr then I start posting walls of text... /sigh either an all or nothing kind apparently.

I love the April Fools jokes from Blizz and the other one (can't remember who it was) thought they were really funny. Funny was definitely needed.

As for the person who posted their video complaint about the Synergy ending, I thought you did a great job with it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now other than that, did I overlook anything in the last 15 to 20 pages?

Still Holding the Line!

well, the anti acta demo was quite enjoyable :'D but okay.. you've got a point there. :D

What, you guys actually had some info about ACTA and someone protested? Ok, if you next tell me that in Austria demos actually achieve something, I'll have to consider moving there. Because, you know, history, architechture, bigger population, my German fetish  etc are not good enough reasons.

I'm surprised, that BW thought, that anyone would like this ending.

omg I hope something big is going our way. Something like "THE SUPA-DUPA-COOL ENDING. IT IS SO COOL THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE SO SATISFIED THAT IT RESULTS YOUR DEATH."

Oh yeah.

My cynical part says they were surprised because people did something beyond complaining on facebook....
Hmm, I wonder how the 'buy our DLCs' message at the end of DA II didn't bother me at all, whereas the ME3 ending got me nearly to set fire on my screen. :?

I just went through Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 again, and I can't believe the difference in quality from ME2 to ME3. So many less instances to choose dialog. many subtle gameplay features removed, like holster. ME3 feels so rushed and unpolished compared to ME2. And then you get to the end, and you realize that what it came down to is they just didn't care anymore. It's like your cramming for you test that starts in 20 minutes, and you just want to get that last paragraph finished.

ME2's ending was amazing, the main thing being you had all our crewmembers doing something, unlike ME1, where everyone else just waited on the ship while Saren destroys the galaxy. Which they brought back for ME3, "hey Biggest battle for the universe ever, I'm taking two of you, the rest of you stay on the ship."

Seems like they got to the end, and realized, " Holy crap, this was supposed to be handed in an hour ago. Green Explosion! end credits."

not really, i think most austrians just really found out about it in february. but after some prodding from anon austria and our pirate party it got organized quite quickly. we don't have that many demos over here, most are just around 200-300 people, but the second someone threatens to take away our illegal downloads we can get quite organized.

not sure if it was the demo that achieved something, but acta was but on ice momentarily.

but better not mover here at the moment :D for the next six months there's the VDS. data preservation or something. besides, we're actually quite a boring country/city.

Yeah I noticed that, it put me back to BEFORE the Cerberus HQ mission.  don't mind, if I actually feel like buying non-ending DLC I could just go by that.

I can think of one Austrian who got quite famous for his fiery speeches (and he was a decorated war hero to boot).

Not to take a poke at you personally, but I just couldn't resist...

i personaly wont buy any dlc until there is a better ending, as in bioware making me feel like it matters( not to mention the dubious ethics of all three so called choices)

people are deffenitly not buying,  50% off the rrp in two weeks is a massive drop for a AAA title.

It's just a shame the US Amazon site isn't doing the same...

Meh, still better than here. I guess it's a climate thing, no one in Finland wants to protest irl, since constant rain and wind in Helsinki kinda ruin the mood. That, and I have never even heard about a protest that achieved anything here. Our politicians don't even claim to be listening :?

Kinda gives credence to the theory that more ending DLC was planned all along. The game doesn't save your completion on the save file, as it's expected that people will be replaying it due to DLC. Just a thought.

Yup, BioWare can release anything they want at this point but enless it's alternate endings that show signs of attention to detail and true care for the fans, I'm out. No thank you. If we do get the endings we have fought for, I will buy every major piece of Mass Effect 3 DLC they offer (with proper research beforehand of course); I still do want to love the series. BioWare just has to show that they truly do care about the fans; the ball is in their court. But even if BioWare do give us what we want, while taking a big step to gaining back my respect, gone are the days where I will blindly buy any of their products juust because of the BioWare logo.

i'm not so sure it might be dlc that would up your readiness before the "end game"
