It's just a shame the US Amazon site isn't doing the same...

price drops and sale freezes dont look good for the future of mass surly bioware/ea would inform retailers about their plans in order to keep sales going

has enyone else noticed that after "the end", when you continue by the cerb base your save file time goes backwards as if you have not done anything after that point.

Yeah I noticed that, it put me back to BEFORE the Cerberus HQ mission.  don't mind, if I actually feel like buying non-ending DLC I could just go by that.

i personaly wont buy any dlc until there is a better ending, as in bioware making me feel like it matters( not to mention the dubious ethics of all three so called choices)

Same here. Why invest money into something I don't enjoy in its current state?

If, by some miracle, Bioware decides to provide us with additional/extended endings, and they are actually worth a damn, I'll probably end up doing what I did with the previous games, too: get every single piece of DLC.

Kinda gives credence to the theory that more ending DLC was planned all along. The game doesn't save your completion on the save file, as it's expected that people will be replaying it due to DLC. Just a thought.

Spirits be praised for that... Imagine if ME3 post-end file was modelled after DA II? Even though 'the loft' is comfy, I don't think it is comfy enough for Shepard to be confined in it until next DLC. Even with all the toy model ships and fish. They even got rid of the booty call invite your LI button, didn't they?

But EA/Bioware knows things get ugly real fast. If they do not act during PAX they may just forget selling games in preorder. Fans got good lesson about trusting corporations...

It has shattered my faith in gaming.

Currently I am just picking up the pieces and trying to put it back together again.

I think there's no need to feel uncomfortable or guilty for our ancestors actions, all we can do is make sure nothing like  it ever happens again.

btw, we're very off topic :D

You have my sympathies. I finished ME 3 around 13th or 14th march and haven't touch any game since.

It took me many days to come back to reality. I felt.... betrayed :crying:

Nor do I, last time this popped up, I think I wrote something along the lines of 'Germany, you can stop apologizing now'.

And yes, this is off-topic-ey, but it has been that way for the past couple hundred pages now. Quick, somebody, throw in some ME3 lolcats so everyone will be distracted!

And thats been the foundation of the issue from the beginning. bioware proper has never seen us as gamers. Its seen us as customers that could seriously effect their income. All the rhetoric that has come our way has been based on a conservative attempt to maintain the status quo and  hopefully avoid the realities of the entanglements that are now surfacing via reduced prices and recalls from mega corporations like amazon.
If only there had been honesty up front, before all of this came down, it would have been a completely different situation. AT least now, perhaps, they know that there is a massive population of enthusiasts  who are intellegent sophisticated, and dedicated to their franchise, who none the less are willing to do what it takes to have a product that lives up to the quality that they have seen in the past, and the hopes they have been willing to expend on that companies coming product. We all love Bioware. We're mad at them yes. We've been betrayed, but we still love them, and we're willing to allow them a modicum of benefit of the doubt. But if things dont improve then it's prety common knowledge that a great many customers will no longer be making purchases from Bioware or EA regardless of the promises made...

I was so disappointed.

I would just like to point out that while they may discuss or announce something at PAX we have no idea when, if anything is going to be released so we're still going to be in the same situation..... waiting

Sad thing is, most of my friends don't care much for the endings at all. Not even the one who introduced me to Mass Effect 1. It's a good ending they say but when I point out plot holes, they quickly move to "artistic integrity."

It makes the whole situation worse.

I still feel betrayed.  Used to be if it was Bioware I'd buy it, because hey they made the games enjoyable, gave me a place to forget the crap I deal with day to day.  Now, if nothing else that has happened here, I won't just automatically purchase a game because it is Bioware anylonger.  If they don't have something up their sleeves (i.e. either the entire time, or changed shirts so they would have something up the sleeve) Bioware will become a sad memory in my gaming history.

Also I haven't been able to sit down and play anything for more than a short period of time, and then I don't even get into it.  Been spending all my time listening to music and hanging out here hoping something will change. :?

I can wait for good DLC even many weeks. But I'd like to hear what I should wait for and that requires communication in any given form.

Waiting is just a basic part of life. An annoying one, but a basic one. Had it not been for a deadline to bring an end to the pre-release waiting, we most likely wouldnt be having this thread. Perhaps we'll have to wait, but if we can get something worth having, the wait will be worth it..

The only thing I can play right now is EVE online just because it reminds me of Mass Effect.

This whole ordeal has been one of my darkest nights and I wish morning would come already.

i agree if they announce it was I.T or a large dlc is coming with more options and more endings i could wait a bit longer, if they dont well i'm sure they know by now what would happen ( after i've pulled the last off my hair out)

I second this, and also add that I can live with a definite no as well, then I'll just try to get over it, and spend rest of my days in mindless horde-killing MP. I need simply a statement making Biowares intentions crystal clear.
