i am now saying that the endings are Bioware's way of getting back at EA for ruining their other famous franchise, Dragon Age.

Ok I've just put myself through the torture of playing through the ending again, positive point, the music is beautiful, but I f*$%£&*g hate that Starkid!! However I was doing it to see whether these rumors of getting a message on the ipad app after the end of the game were true. As yet nothing has come through so we'll see, I will give it until tomorrow morning before I call it bogus.

Hey, ME3-endings had already a kid that made no sense.
Wouldn't surprise me, if the shady guy would show up, who sold letters to Ernie, to sell some "s".

after finishing the game on the 14th of March and being with you since then I came back to the game to see how I feel about these endings and relive them again .... Havent played the game and havent played nothing since then as my soul was crushed.
I thought maybe time changed my perception.
You know what I LOATHE THESE ENDINGS WITH WHOLE OF MY BEING WITH BARELY PALPABLE HATE .
Bioware killed my franchise off and pleasure of gaming IN GENERAL.
TO THE WRITERS OF BIOWARE !!!
FIX THIS !!! FIX THIS RIGHT NOW !!!
GIVE ME A HAPPY ENDING AND OTHER ENDINGS YOU PROMISED.

Well Amazon.co.uk apparently has stopped selling Mass Effect 3... though that probably happened yesterday. It's only available on their site through their marketplace third party vendors now. No the message is real...but it was/is meant to have been sent at the start of the game.

I'm off for tonight, that was so depressing it's not funny. All the things that made me angry the first time angered me again so the Xbox is now off for the forseeable future and I shall go and get some sleep while muttering expletives under my breath at Bioware and the game.

If you mean the 'not as advertised' part...not as far as I'm aware.

Amazon UK did, however, accept full-refunds on console copies of DA2 on the basis that the bugs it was shipped with resulted in a broken product, as the game litrally couldn't be finished or in some cases played. DA2 was not, however, removed from sale - probably because Bioware was open about working on a patch at the time.

Ironically BW/EA's decision not to say anything until after the end of the financial year, in order to 'save' money, has almost certainly resulted in them effectively losing one of their main (UK) retail outlets for the forseeable future.

No the message is real...but it was/is meant to have been sent at the start of the game. 

But that doesn't make sense? Shepard says at the beginning of the game that they haven't been in contact with Kaidan, she didn't know that he'd been promoted and when James asks him if he knows Shepard all you get is "I used to." that's not the kind of response you would expect from what that message is supposed to say, if you follow that rather convoluted sentence!

No idea haha.  I've seen more happen in the past 3 weeks than I thought would ever happen so nothing's surprising me anymore.

I remember hearing something about that a few weeks back so I downloaded the dumb app but it was after I had finished my first playthrough (I thought I might be able to play again). I haven't been able to finish a second playthrough (and won't if its not fixed)...so what is this message supposed to be?

Accidentally stumbled across the IGN blog of Ms. Allers, you know who. Wish I hadn't.

The part that bothers me the most these days is this seemingly utter contempt with which these reviewing (!) sites are working against their own consumers.
It's depressing, to be honest.
