Me neither. Whatever they plan, hope it's not something that will call me "stupid that needs their endings explained". Nope. Their endings need changing. Period. Other than that is never buying their games again. And it's not a threat, it's just stating the facts.

Honestly. Given the quality of DA2 and ME3 unless BW pull something spectacular out of the bag at PAX, followed by an exceptional game at some point afterwards. I really can't see them remaining in business for another 18 months...at least not as games developers. They *might* stick around in some form supporting the MMO.

Ok, our friendship would never be the same again, for sure. Thankfully, nobody I know who plays ME liked it, so it's ok. 

And why would I want to make up my own ending? This is BS. I want a real, awesome ending. Yeah, I can imagine what they did afterwards, but not the ending itself.
I guess they wanted to do an Inception ending. <_<

I wouldn't quit a friendship over a game, but I'm lucky.
Some of my friends got ME1 and ME2 when I recommended the games and didn't order ME3 when I told them what I thought about the endings.
They don't go here and try to change something about it, but (except fo one) they didn't buy the game either.

This touches me so deep...I never thought a computer-game could do that.
The writing is so wonderful, the voice actors did such a great job in reciting the old lines of their roles in a emotionally engaging way...

And then comes the ending and dishonors this great piece of work like someone applying a large smiley-sticker onto the face of the Mona Lisa.
Like a chump who wants to scratch his name into Michael Angelos David.

Yeah For last month social life was gone !!just ..here or campaigning writing letters ...making phonecalls etc..
plus no gaming as this ending has burned me out emotionally.
can only manage Hydro Thunder today few games for first time today !! nothing with narrative as im empty.

I could actually live with it if the ending were genuinely vague. What drives me nuts iare the parts that are specified. They're specific about the Reapers motivation (which really hurt their menace), about Shep dieing (with one exception) about the relays blowing up (which upturns the entire setting) and your crew crash landing somewhere. Barring a good ending with lots of closure, I WISH they had actually left things vague. As it was, it was vague in all the wrong places and specific in all the wrong places.

I don't know how I'll react if they do announce that they have new endings in the works at PAX (joyful that they made them, angry that they didn't do it right from the start?).

I know how I will react if they don't, however. I'm going to need a bigger angry dome.

One thing that bothers me is this: if the leak really had something to do with the changing of the endings, it was a stupid idea. Leaks are bad, and obviously, spoil some of the surprise. But it does not, absolutely not, take away the virtue of a great ending!

If part of the surprise effect was diminished, why not just change details, or work on improving the endings or adding to it? Why throw it all away and start from scratch?

Again, a virtuous ending (good, solid storytelling, with the ending the characters and customers deserved) is a virtuous ending. No matter if it was leaked or part of it was.

The one thing you should refrain from doing is changing it completely, just for the sake of it. And sadly, it appears to have been the chosen course of action.

I think ill be standing down after PAX, one way or another. Either they give us hopeful news and I stand down to be patient, or they artfully tell us to suck it, in which case ill be moving on. Bioware games aren't the only way to get good entertaining stories. The worst would be if they continue to be vague and avoid giving us an answer. Either way, Ill stick around for a bit, maybe collect some Xbox gamertags for any of you fine folks who play on Xbox, but I don't see myself doing weeks more of this.

They would have had to account for Miranda getting killed....etc

That would have taken away from "key features" in a game that was already rushed for time... I honestly think they needed about 6 more months the more we're discussing things these days.
