Hmm and once again... all the regulars seem to have left. Yeeeessssss, good. Soon it will be Mr. Snips who calls the shots around here from on high! -rubs hands together gleefully- seriously though, I never thought I'd be counting days down till PAX. I usually could kinda care less. Will be nice to have a better idea where BW is going from here.

Oh, we're all still here. Don't you worry. Most of the "oldies" or "regulars" have posted everything we can think of, and now we just sit and wait silently...but we are watching, always watching

As for waiting for PAX, I know the feeling...I wish it would hurry up already :pinched:
This whole incident has put me off the ME series. So much so that I'm now playing older games, just to not remind me of it (Freelancer, Mount & Blade series, EVE Online, Homeworld 2 and so on).

*coughs politely* Ahem... I'm still here, and if you don't fall back in line, you'll hear about it for the next week! So stand down sirah, or face my wrath. Which comes in three different colours for your convience~!

Regulars sometimes have to take some time off, to work for example.

But they are always watching, waiting...

Good morning everyone :)

*cough* Not always watching Skyre. Because that'd be creepy, and I think I have delivered all the creepy this thread can take.

I'm not sure what I'll do if Bioware doesn't make any committing statements @ PAX :?

I'm always watching...

I have this thread, Facebook and my Email open at all times (I use FB to chat to my old Star Wars Galaxies gaming guild). So if I am at my computer, I am watching....:police:

Also, if BioWare doesnt say anything...wells...Retake will probably start to go slightly mob like, with torches and pitchforks.

Retake members won't go mob-like I believe. The reason this movement is so effective so far is that we do not act like mob.

The moment we resort to torches and pitchforks will the moment we lost.

edit: besides mob is easily directed when You employ proper, emotional tactics. So far we resisted black PR, gaming press and people calling us different names. That shows the quality of people.

I might flip a table, which I've been refraining from doing for the past three weeks. But that'll probably be the extent of my rage.

I think at that point alot of people will just wash their hands of Bioware unfortunately. I would hate to see Mass Effect go down as nothing more than an internet joke, but that would be the sad truth.

We were loud, big, and have recieved more attention than any game protest in history. Other smaller movements got their wishes (Uncharted players with their better gunplay mechanics Fallout 3 with Broken steel) with much smaller protests/outcries. If they're not willing to listen to us after all this, then they should be willing to loose our money as well.

:D My rage was and still is great. I personally checked "endurance" of many things in home after seeing the ending.

But at the end, when we do not make Bioware listen to us, I'll just vote with my wallet. It is the only way to make corporation listen in the future.

But I don't want to wash my hands of Bioware, I just want them to fix it Image IPB
Mass Effect is my favorite series of all time and I want to love it again but if they don't I will have to go somewhere else, once I find enjoyment in my games again!

Although pitchforks and torches do sound fun  I agree that the best way to show our rage at PAX if we don't a good answer will be with our money (or lack thereof) B)

Same here. But Bioware must allow us to stay with them. The only way to solve the problem is to deliver promised endings.

You just can't help anyone who doesn't want Your help and attention. But then - that kind of person is not worthy of Your attention.

Agreed, they will not get a single penny from me (not that we will have pennies anymore). I have been a faithful consumer, I have played every game since KOTOR. It will be a sad day when I no longer play Bioware games, but it'll be something that I will stick by forever if I have to.

Blizzard can shut up and take my money instead :P

Yeah, Blizzard and many other.

Bioware always set standars in rpgs others followed. There are probably tens or hundreds devs who dream of taking Bioware's spot on the scene.

That's the harsh nature of any business. Climbing on top is difficult and dreadful. Sliding down on Your @ss is so much simpler...

Thanks for posting.

I still don't know if I like being called rabble-rouser.

And I got the feeling that this text presents only devs point of view by pushing games towards art.

I wonder why is it so difficult to consider this whole mess on "customer rights" and "broken promises" level.
