So many people are just missing the point and thinking that it's just because the game didn't end in the exact way that we as individuals had expected it to. I really hope Bioware is listening better than that!chujwamdotego wrote...

Thanks for posting.
I still don't know if I like being called rabble-rouser.
And I got the feeling that this text presents only devs point of view by pushing games towards art.
I wonder why is it so difficult to consider this whole mess on "customer rights" and "broken promises" level.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

As far as me... goes. I will buy some of their dlc's if they are up to par in quality length and price as, lotsb and overlord were. But BIoware is dead to me regardless.
800 mp for javik? wtf is wrong with them. Arrival was nearly half that. Lotsb was 800 and was 2 hrs long.
Overlord was nearly half and was nearly 2 hrs long. A simple squadmate? they can try they can do everything they want. EA is well... a poop in a sack always been. They should stick to screwing up sports games every year. But Bioware was so much more. Guess not anymore.

Feasible but incredibly risky. Some theorists believe that the whole thing was planned -- just smart
marketing on BioWare's part. The unresolved ending does seem to set up a
perfect future for paid, downloadable content, a strategy EA has been
pursuing.
Let's hope so, because if they do not deliver something convincing at PAX, this could turn out to be the biggest marketing flop in gaming history.According to DFC Intelligence analyst Jeremy Miller, the good news for
the marketer is that while a lesser brand might have been hurt, "Mass
Effect" is solid enough to withstand the storm -- and reap the benefits
that downloadable-content sales may have down the line.

I feel slightly confused by what the article is saying, but that's probably because it's 1AM and I'm kinda tired. What I got from it was that we're being called rabble-rousers... and he wonders if we'll burn out if we don't get what we want? If by burn out he means we'll stop the movement, pack up and not buy Bioware/EA games anymore then... yeah.

I do hope they listen. After all they are the ones who have the most to loose.
Critics, gaming press are just happy spectators. They offer "wise" insight and advice, but at the end this is a matter between us and Bioware.
Bioware is smart enough to come up with great new endings, ensuring at the same time that they pose as winners.
And I can live with that...

Yeah, it's definitely a stark contrast to the state of the forums before. I don't think I've seen a single dev out here since the game came out, just some of the moderators.

Well here's hoping they blow us away with something amazing at PAX and don't just announce MP dlc and then wave DA3 in front of us in the hopes that we'll get distracted.chujwamdotego wrote...

I also have my hopes high for PAX, but Dr. Muzyka said about info in April, so it may not be PAX.
But I doubt they think that MP DLC or DA3 will "distract" someone.
Lack of proper communication will effect in focusing ReME3, not distracting, I believe.

If they don't say anything at PAX, I have a feeling they're really going to feel it in the sales department, they already are somewhat anyways, but soon it will be even worse for them...

As with everything so far their silence can be taken in both negative and positive.
We have nothing planned so we have nothing to say. And its best not to say anything to avoid getting people's hopes up or stirring up more ****.
Or
Shhh don't say anything. Pull a George Lucas in Empire strikes back (where no one but Darth Vader's voice actor, Mark Hammil, George and co-director knew about the big reveal of "I am your father") that way we catch em REALLY flat footed with how good the new ending is.
