Same here, the waiting is very trying on the patience! But not to worry, we tend to distract ourselves by slipping into insanity every now and then. We always find our way back onto topic though lol

Shhh don't say anything. Pull a George Lucas in Empire strikes back (where no one but Darth Vader's voice actor, Mark Hammil, George and co-director knew about the big reveal of "I am your father")  that way we catch em REALLY flat footed with how good the new ending is.

I never knew they did that, cool learn something new every day! Let's hope that it's this though, especially with those cryptic comments from Mr. Gamble all of those weeks ago now.

I have life as well. Girlfriend, job, resposibiites ...etc
But if we don't force publishers to listen to us and take our feedback than who will? ??!!

Well, I'll probably have to leave no matter what news they bestow upon us since I have finals and I usually just shut everything out for two weeks to study. In all likeliness, I'll be back because I'll end up missing all you fine folks.

I agree that ME3 had tons of powerful moments but the more time I have to contemplate the game the more and more flaws I start seeing:

-- Almost a total lack of divergence in story
-- Most ME2 only squad members got short changed and seemed like they were in "forced cameos" and not much else.  Tons of wasted potential ...  IIRC only Mordin & Legion played big roles ...
-- I can't say I like Jacob but what BW did to the Jacob romancers was harsh
-- The Tali reveal was rushed / sloppy when there was no good reason for it
-- There was a ton of auto-dialog
-- A fair number of powerful scenes were actually cut from the game but are still on the disks.

As long as you reviewed ME3 and gave it the score you TRUELY believe that it deserved then I think you are [morally & ethically] fine in my point of view.   It's only when folks "lie" in reviews and deceive their fellow consumers that I think a line is crossed.

YMMV.

I totally agree - it was a good game, but not as awesome as it could have been (even if it had had a well thought out ending)

"He's lying right!!!?"

At least acording to the interview he did a few years ago

Um... I've got school starting back up, so I've got no clue... Maybe sometime this week, if not, it'll be sometime after PAX probably...

We with our our protest need to help Bioware help themselves.
So they understand. All other publishers and game makers will take notice.
We dont want a cryptic ending for the sake of cryptic ending in emotionally involving game like this.
This game is like movie Existance with Jude Law- Immersion is on an unparalleled level.
So they didnt get the mood of the game or understand its power which can happen   and they need to change the ending....
But thruth to be told I dont like cryptic endings and I dont think many people do.
We like resolution.
I play videogames to transport myself to different world and be someone else !! save the world etc..
I dont know when game makers started to serve us nonsense endings on such wide level...but this ahas to end...
I like Happy endings and endings that reflect what I strive for in a game.
This is not God Of War this is a game of light and hope !!!
If I want a miserable nonsense ending or zero resolution I can just put the news on....
They (devs) need to get it and need to recognise public mood.
These day world around us is pretty morbid ... Unemployment, Wars , Strikes , Recession , etc..I can go on and on...
In a game with such immersion and a game of HOPE AND LIGHT I want to switch of my PC and feel good.
I dont think im asking too much....

Bioware If you are reading it !!!! I know there is no recession in Canada and you guys have shiny offices and all have great salaries and so on... Maybe you are desensitised to what is happening out there ...
But game can still be arty with no nonsense ending ...and hero getting his girl and saving galaxy and living happy ever after !!!

Well they did say that the panel at PAX wasn't going to be dedicated to the "ending controversy" but I would imagine they will at least mention something about it. They can't just ignore it.
