Um... I've got school starting back up, so I've got no clue... Maybe sometime this week, if not, it'll be sometime after PAX probably...

Well, I'll be looking forward to it!

Comment on it, tell me what you liked about it, and also what needs fixing~!

Will you  hate me if I'm pedantic about spelling and punctuation? Image IPB

Nope~! Since I'm like that as well~! :D

Cool I will give it a proper read through in a little bit and let you know my thoughts. It will be sometime in April Image IPB

For those of us here in Americaland who can only read Engish and the western dialect of Old Norse, what does it say?

It asks whether the ending for ME3 was already hinted at in ME1. It explains that when you go planet scanning you will come across a planet named Klencory and you are given the following piece of information:

"He claims that a vision of a higher being told him to seek on Klencory the “lost crypts of beings of light”. These entities were supposedly created at the dawn of time to protect organic life from synthetic “machine devils”.

Then it goes on to say that strangely enough someone on the official Bioware forums had already commented on this 2 years ago with:

"There are two endings I wouldn't like for ME 3. One being a random GOD LIKE force that saves the Galaxy or another being that to defeat the Reapers, everyone has to become a primitivst and destroy the Relays, Citadel, etc. Both would make me pretty unhappy as those endings have been done to death."

And yet this is what we get.

So it talks about how BioWare hinted in ME1 how they were going to pull a twisted Babylon 5 ending where the Vorlons were actually useful, huh? So nothing really important; good to know.

Would you say that you're "listening"? And that you appreciate all the "feedback"?

Only after a passionate fan response!

Laughing at both now~!:lol: So far there really hasn't been much of a passionate fan response yet... ah well I can always hope... hm, since it going to turn into a Liara Fluff, maybe I should go an post in the Liara thread, since I lurk in it quite often~!

I was reading through it, and what I took away from it was the reminder that Shepard actually has a first name, lol. I honestly forgot.

Though try to avoid too much fluff. Because as you know, giving it a happy ending will compromise the artistic intergrity of it all.

Hinted this, hinted that. Probably it's just a text that can be interpreted like this. I just suffered the ending again - first time I started ME3 since 11th of March - to see if the red ending would be any different now with my EMS above 4k. Anyway, I didn't accidentally say suffered. I mean the dialog is horrible. The only person in the whole ending scene - from Shepard arriving on the citadel to the very end - which has decent dialog is the Illusive Man. Everyone else is spewing platitudes in a fashion that is horrifying. The dialog is bad; no, even worse, it's on a pulp fiction level. Whoever worked on those dialogs (apart from TIM) should quit his/her job. I don't even have to mention the other stuff that's wrong with the ending, right?

Try to clarify all you want BioWare, but clarifying is not going to save the IP or the company if you stick with that ending. Rushed, incomplete, self-righteous without any reason whatsoever, bad (I mean really bad) dialog, plotholes, logical errors / non-sensical, no closure, unimaginative deus-ex-machina-ending. Not even Tolkien or R.R. Martin could save this ending.

Holding the Line until PAX.

Checking in, Lineholders, having a short break from work to catch up on my coffee. Ooph, today's a horrible day for me and I don't even know why. My brain is fried.

As I'm too lazy to check that out right now, what date/time is the BioWare thing happening at the PAX?

I'm sure this is preaching to the choir but that whole planet codex is just coincidence.  Think about the amount of creative ideas they had to come up with to try and make the planet descriptions different, it's not surprising that some freakshow "seeing ghosts" or whatever came up.  And people are so desparate for something to latch onto which helps them explain the ****ty ending they'll give credibility to a fig leaf on the ground if it could be somehow tied back to the "catalyst."

What's sad though is how HARD people have tried to look just to find ANY semblance of anything which might explain the current ending.

I was just doing some thinking about the ME3 multiplayer. Would anyone here play the multiplayer if it didn't affect your readiness?
Personally I felt like I was forced into playing the multiplayer and if I wasn't such a perfectionist I wouldn't have played up my readiness to a full 100% and would've stoped at around 80% never to touch multiplayer again. If I'm going to play a shooter MP game, I might as well just play a game that was designed for MP instead of playing ME3 MP.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you se ME3 MP becomming a big deal?

I'm checking out of here until post-PAX ... There's just been so much stupidity, vitriol and foolishness all over the forums. It's draining.

For those of you hanging around, stay cool, and see you on the other side.

So here's a list of everything that we might here:
(this is ongoing)

1. Multiplayer DLC
2. Dragon Age 3
3. Artistic Integrity
4. Red
5. Green
6. Blue
7. Listening
8. Feedback
9. Passionate
10. Fan reaction
11. Closure
12. Art
13. Artistic
14. Clarify
15. unfortunately
16. We regret
17. Red blue green explained.

I wonder if they're going to have Prozac to hand for the mass depression they'll cause if all we hear is "let us clarify why our endings are amazing".

Prozac will be in the mail when you buy the ending DLC.:wizard:

only after weapon / appearance packs and all new mp maps

Hahah, this is the best. I don't mind Dragon Age 3 being announced (I kind of want it to be), BUT ME3 ending comes first. Bioware should know that. If no one fixes these stupid endings, a lot of people won't buy DA3...at least I know I won't (unless they have Alistair back...but that's highly unlikely)

Thats why people do .. when they can't accept something as is or for what it is..everyone does that. Hell I did at first.. After I beat the game,  i jumped on the internet looking for where  I messed up because  this can't be the end.  It took me 5 minutes  after looking at the list of "16 different"  endings... that it was and it was that bad.   Honestly once you accept that - it becomes so much easier.

BioWare took parts from BOTH those bad endings, combined them and made a worse ending. That takes skill.
Plus, I find it odd that we got exactly what screwoffreg (the one who originally said that) said. Its almost like BioWare saw it, went "Oh, thats the perfect way to ****** everyone off" and went with it...yet another uncanny coincidence to add to the list.

Agreed. Does anyone need some aluminium foil for their caps? It seems I went overboard with mine, so I have plenty left over. ;)

That's actually already come to light, the problem is since they're basically in charge of ME they aren't going to quit and they can't get fired because the public will put two and two together.

My son is trying to ruin nature for me now. We just went to go pick my youngest up from daycare and he looks at the sun (admittedly a rare sight living in the UK) and goes, "Oh look, it's almost like the Citadel is exploding" ARGH!!

Ok, been away for a while but thought i'd pop back for the run up to PAX, surely they wont stay quiet until then? Unless (optimistically) its good news. Why would they wait until then to produce bad news knowing it could get quite hostile at PAX, and wasn't there someone a couple of weeks ago that said there will not be a response for 2 weeks? (that was 2 weeks ago, almost)
