We seem to come in waves. As newer unhappy players join this thread, the ones that came before them seem to gain some sort of patience and start waiting. But it is still good to see some of the peeps around who used to post and stalk with me nearly 2000 pages ago...

That being said, Phoenix, cane? really? kinky...but I don't swing that way.

Eh, TOR is my first MMO, so I don't really care if it is still a "beta version". It's fun and that perception of the game gives me time to get a handle on how things work before all the hardcore MMO players come in and kick my *** in PvP.

As for the Kotaku article, I think they're lying. I mean, they have posted poorly researched articles in the past, and that article is worded so it makes it impossible to verifiy anything.

I feel sorry for you, you missed the best times in the mmo history. now its just ... everyone trying to make a new mmo to get millions and millions of players like blizzard to make a ton of money. everything has to be super easy and simple to get as many players as possible. kinda like mass effect 3 where a lot of the RPG stuff was just taken out because it wasn't needed in the devs eyes. Like exploring, having real conversations with your crew and have choices that matter and dont just end up the same just with different words

glad you are enjoying tor ofc. i mean im glad for every game that someone finds enjoyable. i enjoyed tor too before but now i dont have anything to do and i already have 3 level 50 characters and i dont think its cool to level up all of them just to keep playing, if you know what i mean.

asked the same thing earlier, but doesn't seem like anyone knows :/ a drinking game without a live stream would be almost.. boring. don't really feel like stalking the twitter feed either.. might just make me .. 'antsy'.

BioWare Lets Fans Choose Mass Effect 3's Ending

In a stunning turn of events, Casey Hudson, the lead producer for BioWare's smash series Mass Effect, has announced that the company will let gamers decide how THEY think Mass Effect 3 should end. In an exclusive statement issued to TrueAchievements, Hudson said:

We listened to fans. We feel their anger, their pain, their anguish and tension. We know that they feel their own personal Shepard should have a craftable ending, so we're pleased to offer a select package of DLC that will let gamers download the ending they want, so that their Shepard can end his/her arc how they see fit.
Not to be sullied by a simple "A", "B", or "C" option, gamers will now have the opportunity to pick between the following endings:

1- After defeating the Reapers, Shepard and the gang from the Normandy get stopped in a remote system, then thrown into prison for a one-year term for making fun of an obese Elcor who was being held up by a Batarian.

2- After defeating the Reapers, Shepard and his romantic counterpart sit down for a quiet dinner on Eden Prime as Steve parks the shuttle. As Shepard orders a fried appetizer, the song "Continue Having Faith" from the popular Asari band, Trip, plays. The screen immediately cuts to black and the credits roll.

3- After defeating the Reapers, Shepard awakens in a church surrounded by all of his squadmates, past and present. Admiral Anderson then walks in and tells him that they've been waiting for him to arrive so that they could all move on. It turns out the Normandy was just limbo and the Reapers were actually a giant metaphor.

4- After ascending to the Citadel, Shepard gets a message that the Catalyst is actually in a different Citadel.

5- After defeating the bulk of the Reaper forces by activating the Crucible, Shepard looks to Earth and sees that there are still Reaper variants fighting on the ground. When EDI asks what Shepard is doing, he grimly replies, "Finishing the fight," then leaps towards the burning planet.

Hey eveyone, back to the line! Was having nasty headaches all weekend due to crazy weather - heavy rain for an hour, then sunny for half an hour, then hail, then sunny again, then snow, then rain again. How can a person survive in such conditions?
Anyway, this March felt like it lasted like 1000 days. I hope April will bring us what we're all fighting for.

I guess I'm one of those people that is having a hard time just being patient. I've been following this thread since the 10th, when I finished the game. Would say I'm still as angry then as I am now.

Though I like the idea that if Bioware doesn't say the right things at PAX, they will reawaken that giant sleeping army that was waiting for that day.

#1 No links in the message, from Dr. Muzyka's statement to the ending debate
#2 Less spacing between the "like Kotaku" page and the text than in other articles
#3 Written by Owen Good, the one that despises retakers.

I started playing MMO's with Counter Strike before it was even known of by most people. Then the PKers caame in and the hackers and cheaters and the game went to hell. Mabinogi HAD a great community, but in game trading got out of hand, and the game itself didnt progress well and it ended up sucking as well. In all, i've had and played upwards of fifty different mmos, and frankly, they all suck.. Either your forced into multi player scenarios or the entire scenario is made out of pablum and so weak a level three could walk through it with a toothpick and an attitude.
I found it really disgusting when i heard ME was heading in the same direction.
