Man.. Kai Leng is a good character in the books :( they should have stuck to his character better in the game.

Well he  did look like he was interesting character - wish there was some more meat on the bone when it come  Kei Leng in ME 3.   He could have gone down as on greatest  Dragon's in gaming history .. but you know that would not leave enough speculation for everyone.

because there must be speculation.

Is that not why we are here?

/sarcasm

<_<

I wish they made fun of the whole cereal thing, that would've partially made up for this whole debacle.

Are you not speculating ,  are you not speculatiing,  is this not why  you are here.

Valium.. naw I won't need that.. I chill out on the Character fourms and take my happy arse back to  JPRGS... cliche'd as they are I can name of the most cliche'd ones the  make more sense and are better done then ME 3 endings.

While everyone in the game media continues to kiss up to Bioware and pat them on there heads  like they are specail.

No need sir, to be fair, they were delicious cupcakes they paid me with ;)
I know data-networks which have been, judging by the quality, paid with less...

// And all of them seem to be uni networks. Fascinating how the supposed oasis of science can't ever have a network which would do something as drastic as work. [ / rant ]

Meh i didnt really care about Kai Leng as a character seems too Anime-ish for my liking.

I know that in sci fi rules are generally thrown out the window but there's a reason we don't bring a knife to a gun fight with automatic rifles.

This.

That.  I turned on 3 yesterday and tried to play but knowing about that ending....ugh...I couldn't do it. Pax is the end of the line for me as well.  Granted ME is the only bioware game I've ever played. I was thinking about Dragon age as I said before in a previous post but no. I refuse to support a company that would step all over it's fanbase like this.

Take it with a grain of salt though, it can just be exactly what dr. Ray said in his early post.
It seemed to rile up a few people though, including me for some reason. I can only hope its not true.

First off, STOP WITH THE MASSIVE PYRAMID QUOTES.

Use only what you need.

Secondly, no offense to my Turian brothers and sisters 20 minutes south of me, but I don't trust Mexican media.  It's like saying the Cartels only sell toys for kids.

I've suggested this before, but some people refuse to think critically and actually believe whatever the internet tells them.

Righty ho, Mr Bond. Soldier your being sent on a recon mission into No-mans land, think you can handle it?
Also Mr. Bond, I've got a question, who out ranks who? Who's the highest ranking officer in this thread?

Just thought I'd reply to this. The "older" posters (the ones that have been here the longest) out-rank the "newer" posters :P

As for someone posting about people telling BioWare to not add more to the ending (even if optional), it should have no effect on them. It would be the same as ME2. Multiple endings instead of one. Having to play through several times to achieve all of them, or the "best" ending.
People who fight against BW adding more only care about what goes on in their little world. We are asking for optional additions to ME3, so that people who like the ending as is don't have it changed on them. Those saying no additons should be made are only thinking about themselves.

*is relieved he is considered an "older poster" by that definition and am high up in the ranks* lol
Anyway, I have to agree with everything you said there, I've never understood why people are against it to begin with, if you liked the ending wonderful, adding more would not effect you in anyway, I just want to have another option that is actually good so i can, like you said, replay the game as much as I did ME2

Well when you have cybernetic implants that enhance speed, reaction time,  high power sheild gerenators you can do that but as per bioware fashion- the never  go  into all that about his character in game.   You fight him twice  no information about him in the Chronos Base.

Bioware was trying to be stylish like a Anime but what they failed to realize is that even more absurd animes that take the action to 11 .. establish in the begining of the series  that "Rule of Cool" is law within the Universe.   Gurren Lagann for instance..  Asburity at is finiest but they established at the start of the series  "Rule of Cool" and  "Crazy Awesome" is rule of law with in the first episode and the series is great. Considering the Bioware pulled the Reapers from the series they should dug a bit deeper

Bioware would smart to understand they things they try to emulate before they do it.

I wondered during ME2, and still do, how common knowledge is Shepard's email anyhow? I can believe Kai Leng getting a message through, but the spam mail from ME2? As hilarious as that is, you'd think that a dead-resurrected-ex-spectre-Cerberus agent might have a slightly more private address. :?

And haven't there been a few "Admiral Hackett told me how to contact you" e-mails too?

Sure, let's give an officer's/spectre's e-mail while he's on classified business to save the galaxy. Image IPB

The LoL part for me was receiving an e-mail about how a drell got cured from his kepral's syndrom after praying to the Endkindlers XD.. LoL, Shep receives a real junk mail and here I thought Spectre business are supposed to be classified X)

Soo.. 3 more days to PAX.. how's everybody holding up?

This one would like to point out, that in the context we are working from, and with the presence of elcor and hanar, rule 34 might lead to...4chan, if this one is honest, and no one likes that.

Like I said, I know sci-fi can break some rules  but take for example Thane. Thane was EXACTLY the perfect amount of rule breaking ninja action ME could pull off. An assassin who can beat the **** out of 3 to 7 people close range in just a few deft movements. But first he has to actually get the drop on them. If he comes charging in clear across an open hallway he's gonna get shot and killed.

Whereas Kai Leng is just "I'm here. ****es will start to die because they just have plain old bad aim."

There is no skill with Kai-Leng, unlike with Thane its just "He's the villain, he can do ****. And that is irritating as hell.

Instead of putting Kai Leng and his 25th century Nightwing, Ninja Bull**** I would have much prefered to have a TEAM of people, 3 or 5 specialists that Cerberus trained specifically to deal with Shepard. Then you can have your tank, your heavy hitter, your ninja/melee guy, your biotic ect ect ect. Still a challenge, still powerful as hell but not stupidly powerful like Kai Leng was. Shepard has Cybernetics too, much more extensive than Kai's regardless.

Character development/history asside, Kai Leng as a villain is not compelling at all. The only person that could have the status of "I win because I'm just that bad ass" is Saren, because he was a legendary Specter when you were just starting out. He was the elite among the elite.

Kai-leng is just...random asian guy who's using a sword...yea, real intimidated.

Yes *evil smile*
Though I seem to recall getting few smiles out of one thread, located in the less illustrious part of that particular swimming pool. Back when ME2 had been out a month or so, that thread was flooded with Shep/LI pictures. Pretty pictures, though not for kids.

Good night people SSV Sechelt pulling out . Keep it together, PAX is coming and we'll know what to do next. Will it be vote with our wallets or be able to move on? The ball's in Bioware's cout.
