rule 34 might lead to...4chan, if this one is honest, and no one likes that.
Yes *evil smile*
Though I seem to recall getting few smiles out of one thread, located in the less illustrious part of that particular swimming pool. Back when ME2 had been out a month or so, that thread was flooded with Shep/LI pictures. Pretty pictures, though not for kids.
*coughs*
Where did everyone go all of the sudden? :innocent:

Well when you have cybernetic implants that enhance speed, reaction time, high power sheild gerenators you can do that but as per bioware fashion- the never go into all that about his character in game. You fight him twice no information about him in the Chronos Base.
Bioware was trying to be stylish like a Anime but what they failed to realize is that even more absurd animes that take the action to 11 .. establish in the begining of the series that "Rule of Cool" is law within the Universe. Gurren Lagann for instance.. Asburity at is finiest but they established at the start of the series "Rule of Cool" and "Crazy Awesome" is rule of law with in the first episode and the series is great. Considering the Bioware pulled the Reapers from the series they should dug a bit deeper
Bioware would smart to understand they things they try to emulate before they do it.
*Snip*
Which is why he fails miserable at what he does which was the point was making. There is not establishment for him to even work in Me becaue you fight all of but 2 twice and he was not even all the sinster... and becaome a joke after the Biotic **** Slap Thane delivered.
Thats the problem with Kei Leng its never established in the ME universe that Rule of Cool is law. It exist but its not law.

*hugs* I know how you feel, I don't have any idea of other games either Bioware just hit the right marks for me. Well until the endings anyway. I really hope they get it right at PAX and not have morePorcelynDoll wrote...
I'm losing hope. I feel like PAX is just going to be another huge disappointment and that's where I'll be cutting ties with Bioware. Worse I don't even know where to go game wise. Bioware is the only company I know of that made rpg's where you can pick your gender, customize your looks, have companions you interact with and romance. It's like an up hill battle with nothing to look forward to. I don't know. I guess I'm just feeling sad and defeated.

He was also voiced by Ezio's uncle, so damn right he'd win because he's an assassin (nope, brotherhood never happened for me, I choose to live oblivious to it)ld1449 wrote...
Like I said, I know sci-fi can break some rules but take for example Thane. Thane was EXACTLY the perfect amount of rule breaking ninja action ME could pull off. An assassin who can beat the **** out of 3 to 7 people close range in just a few deft movements. But first he has to actually get the drop on them. If he comes charging in clear across an open hallway he's gonna get shot and killed.
Whereas Kai Leng is just "I'm here. ****es will start to die because they just have plain old bad aim."
There is no skill with Kai-Leng, unlike with Thane its just "He's the villain, he can do ****. And that is irritating as hell.
*snip*
Character development/history asside, Kai Leng as a villain is not compelling at all. The only person that could have the status of "I win because I'm just that bad ass" is Saren, because he was a legendary Specter when you were just starting out. He was the elite among the elite.
Kai-leng is just...random asian guy who's using a sword...yea, real intimidated.
I do agree with you though, I never, ever, got any threath feeling from Kai. He just wasn't intimidating. The only feeling was mild annoyance during Citaled attack, since I was half-certain I'd need to run after him, like during the first mission on Mars. I hate running after people. Almost as much as escort missions.
I'm mor intimidated by Phantoms. And even that requires them being able to get close.
I actually felt that even Thane was a bit of a cliche TBH, but at least I believed he could work as an assassin

OMG Phantoms were biggest Joke in the whole game - I had more trouble with Centurions and those damn smoke gernades the Phantoms... especially on my Vangaurd. That class is built to kill Phantoms. They flip across the room... Charge. The flip away - Charge, they keep fliping a way - charge.

Yeah Brothterhood was good. Revelations felt more like an Epilogue to Ezio adventures more than anything else because that point he is pretty much done.

I liked Brotherhood the best as well. I did enjoy Revelations but more for the ending of the story and the closure (see Bioware, even Ubisoft can get that one right!!). Will be interesting to see what AC3 brings, a bit worried about the American Revolution setting but we'll see what happens I guess.ld1449 wrote...
