i have to agree with you on that, revelations was alright but it didn't give me the feeling the other AC games did

 

AC 3 - may very be game of the year here... matter of fact I hoping for it... just so it can get shove in EA/Bioware face. Ubisoft work hard on fleshing the story line even with tight deadlines, impletement multiplayer  seemlessly.  They did everything that BIoware and EA tried to do but hardly get any credit for it.

Yeah  Brothterhood was good. Revelations felt more like an Epilogue to Ezio adventures more than anything else because that point he is pretty much  done. 

Not because it was the end of Ezio's journey, but because there really was no point. The entire game was just pointless and could have been wrapped up in like...ten minutes. Ezio goes to Altair's library, finds the apple, does what he does, leaves then when he takes a ship he meets the librarian chick that he ends up marrying, epilogue done.

That was essentially the whole point of Revelations.

I admit that the Altair Flashback bits were always very nicely done but other than that, nothing of the game really made me sit in my chair and put myself in Ezio's shoes.

Anyone who has played Dark Souls knows that this ^ right here was the same reaction most people had when considering the origins of Half Breed Pricilla.

Don't get me wrong, I actually think Brotherhood is a good game, maybe not the best of the series, but good nevertheless. It's just that the memory/DNA syncing does not mix well with ocd lvl perfectionism. I got every single feather and treasure chest from AC II, so when I'm confronted with the 100 sync objectives in Brotherhood *looks hatefully at the catacomb run*, I tend to lose the joy of playing. I haven't even finished that game.

...nor FF XII now that I think about it. I just need to get everything done during first playthrough. ...damned moondust bunnies and sh*tty drop rates...

By the way, speaking of Dark Souls, I heard that there was supposedly going to be DLC released for it, have you heard anything that confirms or Debunks it???

I was the same throughout Brotherhood, tried so hard to get 100 sync on all and some of them made me feel like frothing at the mouth in anger so I stopped lol. I finished the game but just had to accept that I would have to do another playthrough to complete it all. Then I got distracted by the ME games again and now they've ruined it all for me.

My closest equivalent is from Forgotten Realms. Half orc, half drow. I'm still not quite sure how that happens, though in all honesty, drows are... hungry race. And Skyrim orcs are at least people, so maybe an unholy dalliance between Skyrim orc and a free-minded rogue drow?

The final nail to the coffin was the fact Mario died. He was my favourite character! Though I guess Macchiavelli's presence makes up some of it. I like him.
And now I remember where I left the game. An escort mission... Why, WHY is there always an escort mission?

thats the first I have  heard about it but the  developers did say they wanted to work on the  glitches in the game

not exactly sure of numbers but id assume a good number, all im certain of is some of the PAX east platoon will be there

Please people, I know it is hard, and I know the longer it takes to hear anything official about it, the angrier we get. But let's try to keep it civil, so they don't lock this thread. We are nearly at 3 thousand pages mileston, and PAX is just around the corner.

Keep holding the line, and have faith that Shields will come to our rescue.
