Bali seemed to be the 'mandatory' destination for those visiting my country it seems XD. There are many tourist destination out there from the tranquil places, river rafting, green pady fields, night life or quite nice beaches ;) our AWSOME beaches are not in Bali ;) they are in Bunaken and Raja Ampat.
Just be sure you're not holed up in Denpasar only though X)

I can go on and on, so it's best if I just stop now. If you're interested to know more, just PM me, I'll be glad to answer the questions ;)

Indonesia is beautiful, my brother was working up in Aceh for a while and met his wife there. Image IPB We've been going since I was little so these days, when we can, we go to our favorite hotel in Sanur and just chill out with the kids. It's our time away from the world I guess.

Plus ****** florensiensis :o that's just...too cool!

Not very hopeful right now. I just fear they are going to clarify a couple things, and that's it. Better not have to pay for a proper ending also.

Why not? If BioWare was smart they would bundle "new ending DLC" with a paid story DLC. That would cover production costs for remaking the endings. Then release just the ending content as free DLC and release a version of the paid story DLC without the ending content. BioWare minimalizes financial costs and the fans (ALL the fans) get what they were promised. Everyone wins.

Urgh, why is it only Tuesday I'm so tired of speculations. It's like an emotional rollercoaster going between hope and disappointment.

Note "address" not "fix"..... but it is at least a reason to keep being positive and hope that they have listened to us.

Ugh... "address". That sounds about as unconvincing as "clarify". Reading these things makes me feel worse about our chances rather than better.

And missing another word 'Add'. As in 'Adding new endings'. But whatever they're going to do, I hope they're not trying to 'address' the issue with.. moar space magic >=]

With all the clamour about 'make happy endings optional', 'total defeat ending achievable' and something in between.. I thought they would listen O.o'

Oh well, we shall see what happens in PAX, then. That day either I'll be celebrating with you fine people, or I'll be coming down here looking and giving comfort hugs -.-

Good <Insert local time period here> all just thoughts on a paid ending DLC change.

While I'm really hoping that BW relaese DLC to fix the ending of Mass Effect 3 I'm really nervous that this will create a precedent where it becomes acceptable for publishers/developers to realease unfinished products because they can always release the rest later for people to buy if they want to finish a game.

Personally I feel that this totally violates the retailer-customer relationship why should we have to pay for an incomplete product and THEN have to pay to finish it.

Pretty sure FF XIII-2 (Square Enix right? Not a FF fan) beat BioWare to that punch. I find it kinda funy that FF XIII-2 ended on a "To Be Continued" card, which is just awful, but still had more coherence and closure than ME3 did.

Also, as a fellow dutchie you will understand - Bioware clearly did not consult us on this color ending because we would have been able to tell them that orange was always the way to go!

Well fans have definitely made it known what they wanted. We'll just have to wait and see if they were actually listening. Actually it's not even a matter of listening. What we'll find out at PAX is whether or not they actually care.

OK. I only vaguely remembered the company's title card from TB's WTF Is... marathon of FF XIII-2 (go look that up guys, it's ****ing hysterical). After that I looked up the ending (not the paradox ones, the real one) and had no bloody idea what was going on. But that was from lack of context instead of it consisting of random cutscenes spliced together.

Here is a hint...if you open up you wallets, they care. I am preparing to be disappointed because I just don't think they will change from their vision. They won't notice the mistake until we don't buy their DLC or next games. By then, it will be to late for Shepard. That is why mine never came out of the apartment with miranda. Universe is effed either way since it all ends the same. May as well just hang out with my love interest and watch it burn.

@Phoenix NL: Sanur is a cool place to chill :) btw it looks like you've been visiting Bali more often than me though XD. And yes this whole emotional roller coaster ride starts to feel like some sort of battle doesn't it? You win some, lose some but only time will tell who will be the victor (I wish it didn't have to be this way between us and bioware. All we ask is just for them to KEEP their promise).. Hmn

@Debi-Tage: the Flores people? Urban legend still says they aren't extinct yet. Just their numbers are small and they are well hidden. Somewhere in the densely forest of Sumatra I believe they also have this kind of story if memory serves right. Some local villagers reported seeing them, but.. They're just as mysterious as the Yeti (the live ones, I mean ;p)
