Oh and now I'm done with King Arthur, I need another movie to watch... Damn things aren't like Gettysburg which is like... 4-5 hrs long... Or Return of the King... Oh maybe they've got the extended version up somewhere on the interwebs~! :innocent:
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

What happens when they want to release a new ME game set after ME3? Are they going to take the current endings as canon? I, for one, would not be happy with that. I wouldn't buy a Mass Effect game where the relays are destroyed and Shepard has pretty much destroyed the galaxy. I'd want the new endings to be canon. Which raises two issues:
1) What the hell is Bioware going to do? They'll need to pick one or the other as canon, which kind of goes against their whole "there is no canon" thing.
2) Since they're going to need to pick an ending for canon, how do we convince them to pick the new endings over the current ones?
I'd suggest another letter and e-mail campaign following the release of any acceptable DLC that adds endings to let them know that choosing the Starchild and destroyed relays as canon is a no-go for any future ME games.

What are you talking about? I know emperor Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker, but who is this Mace Windu you are talking about... Is he from some reality where there were more than 3 Star Wars movies?

However even "perfect" ending is really bad so this one decided to check that tiny box although it strongly disagrees and does not like any kind of DRM.
This one came here to hold the line and when it is ready to criticize what everybody criticized.

This one really hates EA and BioWare for making him register its game to be able to post in this forum, this one was totally happy with you-know-what version of the game without stupid necessity to register it (this one already paid for it). This one really do not need multiplayer for "perfect" (what irony) ending, although this one's EMS was below 4000, this one knows YouTube.

I guess it would depend entirely on what they end up doing and what the next game was going to be. It's possible they'll set it many years after the current game so that potentially only Liara is still around if at all. Then it would just be a case of saying Shepard saved the galaxy all those years ago.TSC_1 wrote...

Well, sure. But blowing the relays is kind of permanent. And I suspect they'll not destroy them in any new ending they release.

But I suppose I could give Windu a break, he is in the Phantom Menace, and that movie is borderline acceptable, if one hits herself with a hammer whenever that... what was that creature's name... that thingy, appears.

I think the ME series is over... Shep destroys the reapers and pretty much annihilates the galaxy... So... We could fight the Krogan ! but that would assume we build relays, wich is stated (alot) in the series is impossible... We cant build what we cant understand... And since the relays we're destroyed, we cant study them even if we wanted to...

Very true, it was a really touching ending... Hm I don't have Troy, but Netflix might, if not, well there's the interwebs for that. I've also been to Gettysburg... One of the most moving moments in my life... I've never felt the presence of history more than when I was standing on Little Round Top, looking down the hill... I swear that night I had dreams about the fighting that took place... Quick lets start comparing the endings of movies to the end of ME3~!
Gladiator= Pulled off the Bittersweet ending
Braveheart= Epic end to a man who had become more than a man
