Wow that's a shot in the foot if it's true. As always twitter is suspect but if they are not changing the ending? Well this won't bode well for anyone I think :/

it says "your" ending not "the" ending its just more of the same

As I said before, they cannot "change" the ending, pandora's box has already been opened, the best we can hope for is that's not the final ending, of course that leaves the issue of people not getting the full game, if they release a final that's free, then no problem, but if they charge for it, then I think I'll enter this forum with full shields and flame proof suit.

Nothing new really.  Whatever they do will probably be an "extension" of the ending.  We'll have to see what happens.

It's just a PR double-talk.

Original endings may stay if only new, logical endings are added.

If somebody likes original endings that's fine but about 91 % (one of the polls on BSN) of fans want new, better ones.

Just saw a commercial for me3, and in it one of the review statements that popped up was how the series ended beautifully. I wanted to throw up.

I would go pre-order those now then lol. It won't be free and I'm 100% sure on that. Actors, programmers, CGI, sound tech, story writers, will all need to be paid.

Can we really ask the programmers and voice actors to work for free just because the Exec Producer and Head Writer made some bad decissions? Look for it being in the $5 to $10 dollar range. Depending how much they have to do. If they make it a full expansion then $10 but if they just do new cut scenes then $5.

I don't know what MW/CoD players were expecting... there are only so many ways you can have a multiplayer FPS game be different than its predecessors before it starts getting lame and recycled. I never saw the point in those silly games in the first place. If you've played 1 MP FPS game, you've played them all...

5 to 10 bucks is a reasonable prive I think.

The thing is, we know Bioware has the resources to do it. Shadow Broker, Overlord, those were HUGE expansions. Adding 2 hours of gameplay and bringing another smaller storyarc to completion within it is quite the accomplishment, so we know they could release something very satisfying as addition or change to the ending.

As for "not being able to change", I am all for keeping the current endings in some form. Maybe as alternative outcome depending on the play, but a revised ending, expanded ending or more and more distinct outcomes should definitely be what is coming. Not because that's what I'd like to see, but because it's what the ending needs to get unscrewed.

They'll fail.

You know -MW 3 players are playing the game, which is art and devs must maintain artistic integrity... :innocent:

NOBODY is asking the programmers and voice actors to work for free.
Were asking for EA/Bioware to fund the DLC with money from their own pockets, something we know for certain that they have in great abundance.

What they need to decide is how much the ME franchise is worth to them.

They have reserve funding, any business that does not is playing with fire, I once thought the same as you, but I cannot in all good conscious support something that may set a precedent in the gaming industry "How did the story end?, pay $? to find out!"

The thing is, Bioware/EA does not want to pay to fix their own mistake. So I'm fully expecting the closure DLC to come out with a price tag and that's when I will trade my game in. If it's free, I'll take a look and if it sucks, I'll still trade the game in.

1; The voice cast were already scheduled to record new stuff - although they didn't know exactly what - sometime ago.

2; Bioware staff will get paid regardless of what they happen to be working on.

In other words no one would be asked to work for free.

If they charge for it, that will simply reinforce the image of a company who cares only about ripping their customers off at every chance. Coupled with the day one DLC issue, which WILL end up being dragged back into the light, their reputation for a customer friendly company will be gone along with a significant chunk of their customer base.

Sure, that DLC *might* sell well *IF* it is decent...but they will find sales of all subsequent DLC AND games will suffer.

 Hello all!!
This waiting is really starting to take a toll on me, but I keep thinking BW has something big planned, of course, it's just wishful thinking :P
I would hate it if they just added MP DLCs, I am so bad in MP :pinched:, but hey, I don't have to get it if I don't want to! B)
So, I just wanted to say that my brothers (both, sadly) liked the ending(s) and they can't say why either, but that's not why I bring it up, it's because even though they liked the endings, they haven't played ME3 again, not once! When ME2 was released, they finished it several times, and now... Heheh, I think they don't like it as much as they believe:devil:

I agree to a point. Most wont like it. But even those who say they wont buy em. Will. I am one of them. I will judge them compared to me2 dlc's and if they are good I'll buy them. Should they be free. hell freacking yes if they are in regards to the ending. But they wont. Their bottom line wont allow it. They will recoup some of the customer base with them. But after these dlc's I am done. So I guess they will take my money a bit more. After that BIoware will loose out completely. Just like EA long time ago did for me. Some UBisoft Games, bioware now will go into my black list after this zhitty mess is dealt with.
