So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Tali's face? Random google image, photoshopped, but not beyond recognition.
Ending? How about googling "winter space", and using the first image that you find?
That didn't happen "accidentally". They did that on purpose, assuming we are too stupid to notice, or that even if we do notice, they don't have to make an effort, because what?
The whole ending sequence is a giant collwction of plot holes, GM incompetence, and open disdain for the players... erm, i mean dollars.
We are not BW groupies eagerly awaiting their warm, white spray. We are customers, paying 60 dollars for a product, and we have every right to demand 60 dollar quality. Quality, that was promised many times prior to release.

This one is great. At lest he knows what will the reaction be if they fail to satisfy the people. His other comment was to someone who said he should offer a 'purple ending' as an April fools. His words were 'I like my life thank you very much'.

On the contrary, I would be very happy with a fabulous purple ending.
just kidding

We can do it!
I think if Bioware is going to release a clarifying dlc, they shouldn't even bother. They'll just make the situation worse...

Yeah. For one thing I'd fully support the the idea of deploying the clowns.
We've already stockpiled the white-wash and soft-crust pastry.

You know, that statement actually reveals a lot more upon second inspection. Obviously it shows that he relizes people would be infuriated by such a irrevelant fix--so he would also probably realise that only "clarifying" the already hated choices would induce the same angry reaction.
Idk, maybe BioWare understands after all ;p

Commander's Personal Log - Day 26 - Still holding the line. The Reapers are throwing husks at us like it's going out of style now. We've endured several mutli-frontal assaults in the past 24 hours. Worst of all, the half indoctrinated 'bridge-folk' are starting to get more brave and poking their heads out of the shadows. Lieutenant Jenkins nearly lost his arm to one that latched on and wouldn't let go earlier this morning.
We're nearly there, command tells us that we'll hear something on the PAX Peace Conference hopefully this weekend. Hoping to get home and see my family soon, miss them. Sacrifice is worth it though.. for them, for the future of games, for the line.
Computim Out.

I agree 100%. Trying to "explain" why what they've already done is brilliant will only end one way, and then all of us will need the fire-proof suits for sure...

I thought this was interesting. Game companies are starting for feel the heat.
The best thing they can do is to stop buying the DLC that keeps getting pushed out. Only then will something possibly change. But too many MW players don't see that they are being played for chumps and keep buying the stuff because of how appealing it's made to look.
If they stop and say
" Wait a minute why am I paying for maps from previous games"?
Or better yet they can say
"Why am I paying for the same stuff ( the series really hasn't changed) each game"?
Once they realize they deserve better and hurt these companies in those wallets then things will start to look up. Otherwise they'll keep buying these games without a second thought and nothing will change.
Ya wanna know what's even sadder? Capcom recently stated in an interview that they are trying to change Resident Evil from a survival/horror franchise into a more action oriented one to draw in COD players. It's kinda wierd that they can't see that 95% of the COD fanbase ONLY plays COD and does not care about other games, so all their doing is alianating fans. More and more gaming companies seem to be adopting these sad trends and it's breaking my video game lovin' heart

I'd die laughing if they had the DLC completion achievement called "Cupcakes"

That is my brother right there. He plays COD and the occasional racing game (Gran Turismo, etc.) and that's it. I actually tried to get him into ME, thinking that he'd like it as it was more of a shooter than some of the other stuff I usually play. His response?
"This is boring."
Trying to replay the first Mass Effect after playing ME3, I really noticed just how much they've cut out where dialog and exploration is concerned. I think the longest I went on the third game without a fight was maybe half an hour, whereas on the first one I just spent four wandering around the Citadel talking to people.
The more games start to "streamline" that experience, the more content gets lost and the less I want to play any more.

I liked the ending for many games that some of my friends hate me for it. Why? because they were just that. Random games I picked up and couldn't care less for the story. I wasn't a fan, neither is him.

Absolutely, I'm sure they know about the quietly simmering rage. The question is, are they willing to gamble with not fixing/offering an alternative? They wouldn't know the full extent of the impact of simply "clarifying" until it takes a hit at their future sales.

Pay attention to the wording, my dear Watson. They said "your ending". My ending in ME2 was different from that of my friends.
I am sure they will keep the ending we have now intact in some way, but there should be new stuff incoming.
Plus: the twitter account is not very reliable. They say a lot without saying anything at all. Such is the nature of the NDA:
