BioWare's panel on the schedule is for Firday

i read it seems its going to be a dragon age 3 announcment since theres no mention what so ever of mass effect

Mass Effect is 4:30.  Chris Priestly, Jeremy Weekes, couple other big names gonna be there... along with the entire convention center security team hahaha. Image IPB

Haha.
Wait. Are they talking about DA3 first or ME3?
See...I think it is in their best interest to think about the order. If they give us good news about ME3, they might announce that first and then DA3, so people will actually pay attention to both, and be willing to buy DA3. But if the news are bad...better announce DA3 first (making a couple of DA obsessed fans happy) and then talk about ME3...
Either way, if the news are bad, everyone will be mad.
EDIT: typo

if the nes is bad i expect to see riot police because i suspect theres going to be a lot of pissed off ME fans

If the organizers are smart that's what there will be. They might still think we're a minority and put two rent-a-cops at the door. I wish I could be there, it has potential to be a crazy situation.

given the volatile situation and the aspect of being taken to the better buisines place and well as the federal trade commision on valid reasons (also its an unfinished product by there own remarks which they have now made "fixed!) i can see this either being there savour or there death knell

I don't think anyone from our group will be stupid.. having seen the idiots on IGN yesterday I, unfortunately, can't speak to the entirety of anyone going there.. which is really sad.  I really hope anyone who starts being an idiot gets tasered on Youtube and we can use it for a Hold the Line training video.

If that tweet is true, then Bioware has lost a customer forever.

What tweet? The one about PAX?

See, that was supposed to mean that they have not announced the content of their presentation/session at PAX, not that they will not say anything at PAX.

The one that said "We're so glad you liked it. Don't worry, your ending won't be changed. We're just releasing more content"

Maybe I misinterpreted it. I took it as all they are going to do is "clarify" things. I sincreely hope I am wrong.

Oh, that one. See, I never expected them to get rid of the current endings. I thought they would just add other ones to it, you know.
Also, if it's a DLC, it is optional, so technically they are not changing it, but adding to it. You only download the new ending if you want. :)

If Bioware comes out and says they dropped the ball on the ending and apologize, that would be enough for me and would not need a DLC. If they don't admit there faults then i would like an in-depth explanation for their choosing of this ending.

Smartest move at PAX would be, when the devs enter the room, the whole audience shouts in a chorus:
"Give us new endings!"

Guess the message couldn't be more clear then. Except someone would Tattoo it on the devs forehead while they sleep...

And if nobody gets tased we'll use Space Magic to make a training video... XD

whats going to happen when EA turns off the MP servers, they just shutdown a TON of servers for other games, the oldest being 2 years, the youngest being 11 months (UFC servers i think).
they also shutdown shift 2 servers and various other need for speed servers and other EA games.

so no server = no 100% = no chance of getting the "best" ending (assuming they fix it)

Thing is, that far down the road EA simply will not care. It astonishes me that they even lied about the MP not affecting the SP. At least the Dead Space 2 MP was completely optional, and I never even bothered trying it.

It's pretty hard to tattoo something backwards... I mean that'd be the only way they'd read it in the mirror.

Personally I suspect there'll be some boos and cheers when they come out.  I'm hoping there are not a bunch of idiots and they at least respectfully wait for them to announce stuff before they go crazy... I wish I could be there... It's like ordering your squad on a dangerous mission, you want to be there with them, supporting them and serving as a role model.  Sadly I'm too far away to make it in time.

You made a good choice not playing the Dead Space 2 MP... It's so horribly unbalanced that it's pretty much unplayable...

So I'm currently listening to the ME1 soundtrack and it's nearing the end now.  When I heard the Love Theme one...I have to admit that left my lips quivering a bit.  The way its playing and given the whole situation of the ME universe at "the end"...yeah, the pain is still there.  Only three more days to go and then...well, it had better be good news.  I'm not planning on playing MP as a subtitution, especially when there's a lot of weekend events for them! Compared to World of Warcraft PVP, the DS2 MP is kind of balanced. If a Hunter comes around the corner and hits you for 50k damage from 130k life in one instant shot, that is unbalanced...

Don't tase me bro!

On a serious note I hope that everything goes well, but I have seen enough public gatherings reduced to shouting matches and violence because of one or two disjointed individuals.

My faith in humanity will be shaken if pax is turned into a European soccer riot.

Haha, just listening to my favourite band "Mirrors" (Seriously, check them out; AMAZING) and their song "Shooting Stars" came on whilst I was looking at some ending video stuff on youtube...it fit quite perfectly - like it sounds quite Mass Effect-y and the lyric "We fall, fall like shooting stars" just made me think of my feelings after realising the endings were terrible - the penny dropped.

Really weird but yeah, if you're interested:

I don't think there will be such an outrage. It is a simple matter of fact that, even with different opinions, gamers tend to be less agressive then soccer fans. Not to look bad at the soccer fans, but every gamescom I went to was very civilized, and I would have never witnessed a blow there. I guess the two parties lose in argumentaion for hours, but not in blows and kicks.

I can't count for people who want to make us stand in a bad light, pretend to be us, and then do something though...let's only hope it works out.

Less than SOME football fans. I fear overseas people think that English football is full of hooliganism and stuff which is totally wrong. Yes it used to be quite a problem, but now it's perfectly fine in general. Yes you get the occasional scuffle or abuse (Of course, being a Brighton fan means a lot of homophobic stuff :P ) but there are thousands of matches each week which have no problems. Not having a go at you or anything by the way, just saying;)

Yeah, PAX can go one of four ways:

1) Good news, new endings, everyone rejoices
2) Bad news, everyone riots
3) No news, everyone riots
4) Cryptic news, could mean good, could mean bad - everyone is confused which may lead to riots
