So I noticed something playing the first Mass Effect ( I can't touch the third bc every time I think about the ending I just want to tear down the house). When you are assaulting Choras Den and going after Fist, a few of the thugs that you have to kill say hold the line. Do you think it was them trying to tell us in a way back in 2007 to not go any further bc they knew the ending of the series would be so bad? Or are they supporting our cause? Thoughts?

Man, how can they come up with this and then follow it with the travesty that is the ending.

Why would you do this to us? Image IPB

To remind us what we're fighting for. No speaking of quitting, moving on, or leaving the line!
(well, me obviously excluded, seeing how I'm the gal who is dropped behind enemy lines to do her sh*t or die trying)

That's right, time to regroup and wait for intel before throwing you back into the fire Image IPB

Let's guess the likely "big announcements" that Bioware will give us at PAX:
1 Multiplayer maps/weapons packs/species (because we demanded it!)
2 A Facebook Game (cheap to make and Bioware can throw the word "community" around a lot. Plus it can factor into your Galactic Readiness score)
3 Appearance/Armor Packs (Tali will be soooo cute in her new outfit!)
4 Retake Omega with Aria (by the way who really cares if Aria [Mass Effect's Jabba the Hutt] gets her slum back anyway?)
5 Javik 50,000 BC (fight Collectors and Reapers before he's frozen)

Am I missing any other likely announcements? I doubt they're going to fall on their sword and admit they screwed up.

Seriously... I just don't get the whole Aria/Omega appeal. I wished I could turn on the shower in Shepard's cabin every time I left that place. Not a DLC I'd ever be shelling out money for.

Yea I thought it was an interesting addition and Aria quite the character but I'm ok staying away from Omega, only so much decontamination one person can take lol!

Ok I'm a bit slow here is that dialogue from the game? Or is this some one imitating it?

So Forbes has an article out about the current "Worst Company in America" poll. The finalists are currently EA vs Bank of America. The article brings up a lot of good points, actually, and I agree with his assessment. While EA is feeling the wrath of many people right now, I think BofA is much worse. While it's true that EA tends to gobble up and destroy developers in the name of the all-mighty dollar, and rushes out games filled with Star Children and Space Magic :wizard:, in the end, their practices will end up biting them in the end, as we've seen here.

BofA, however, doesn't have that problem. Many of the things they do are unethical and imo, should be illegal. They literally ruin lives instead of just a video game story.

So, in the end, I really think we need to try and keep things in perspective.

I haven't been around much this week as I'm waiting for what's happening at PAX, but I'm still holding the line.

It's dialogue from the game, heard during the dream sequences.
