So we can't get the ending we want after all?

It's sad that this is the first franchise in story telling that I've ever had to invent my own ending to satisfy myself. Normally I enjoy accepting what the authors write, but this is just so bad I can't do that. So for me, IT is true (simply to try to patch holes in the plot), Shepard wakes up and defeats the Reapers. The galaxy is saved without the massive, pointless sacrifices of the endings we are given, and the ending scenes are of Hackett giving a victory speech to the combined races and Shepard getting to retire to build Tali her home (where we finally get to see her real face on a 3D model).
Hopefully BW can redeem themselves by fixing their endings, but until then that is how the story ends for me, and I'm sure for many others. One thing is certain though, I will never buy another BW product again until they prove they went back to school and learned the basics of storytelling again.

EA won! Hold The Line!
Oh my and this last bit had me laughing!
Traditionally, the Poo has been delivered on its little red pillow. But this year, we'll give EA three different color options for its pillow, though in the end it's still the same old Poo.

I would go like this :
EA- Shadows
Bioware - Vorlons although jury is out still on that one
Better Ending - First Ones or Mimbari
lol
Yep, I posted this video to make that point.
www.youtube.com/watch
Very good. That is how ME should have ended .Im not saying exactly the same but along similar lines.
This is clever and intelligent writing . JM Straczynski pls help Casey Hudson as he lost his way....
And Vorlons nor shadows took theit tech back....they left it till when we are ready.....
If Bioware wrote that scene, Sheridan would have had to chose either the Vorlons or Shadows. The result would have been explosions that destroyed the galaxy. Only difference would be the colors of course!

See, I wouldn't believe this. Like ME twitter account said: of it isn't from an oficial Bioware source, it is just a rumor.
To be fair, bioware also officially denied any rumors that 1) there would be a prothean squadmate in the CE and 2) the ending would be mostly the same except for the color. They tweet, post and release anything and everything for maximum effect of trying to prevent people from getting pissed off. Yet for some reason we continually forget that there is a massive credibility gap, and we continue to take anything they tweet, post or release at face value. At least a lot of us do.
A better way to look at the whole Mexican issue is that would the guy who made the statement really be knowledgeable about what was coming and what was not.

Watch recent best seller literature or some of the major movies closely.... shades of grey regarding the general tone of "artistic" output has become quite populour since 9/11.... it's still the zeitgeist
Its just trendy and as you say "artistic " to give some pile of crap to the public ,twist it (the more the better ) and than say you dont like it cause you dont get it...
i say bull****....
We dont get it cause it is what it is ...which is pile of crap ....

I see what the article says, trying to not demean those who voted for the result of their poll, or the validity of the manner in which they chose to run it (open online polls), but really...
BOA has DESTROYEED lives. EA may go as far as to destroy the little part of lives that we do look forward to and enjoy, but BOA's responsibility and importance to its customers is FAR greater than that of EA.
This makes me sad.

So very true.I tried multiplayer(Not my cup of tea)I played the game+ to see how it would if I could get points without multiplayer.(No)I've seen Shep die twice.I'd really like to see the breath at least once in my life, but it won't happen if I have to play the multiplayer to get it.
Oh and the ending does'nt make anymore sense a second time through it.

That's true, I feel the same way. Bank of America, and it's fellow banksters have bought Governments, crashed the global economy, made huge profits off intentionally crashing the economy, got the Governemnt to bail them out, and destroyed millions and millions of lives in the process.
EA pales in comparison to this by an unthinkable margine.

I agree. As much as EA sucks, BOA takes the cake every time. Destroyer of lives. There is no redemption of BOA.
