It could be very difficult depending on how the game assets are stored. An in-game mod may be nearly impossible. But an asset rip into a different engine could work, I think... (I've done similar stuff with FFXIII binaries.)

NM, I bet a very careful hack of a DLC might just work... It would take a while unless a lot of ppl worked on it.

This group formed for that very purpose. Looks now like we're going to need it.

I shall join you immediately, friend. *runs to thread*

I feel bad for Joker, simply because I'm so totally taking the Destroy ending now. If Shep is going down, Joker's "love" life is going with it.

Uh, I did ignore you, because I realized that, yes, you must be new to the spoilers, and you were right to ask what you did. Anyone new to the argument rightly would. Realizing this, I decided not to pursue it...not sure why you felt the need to bring it up again. o_O

Oh, okay. From your tone and other posts I figured you were just going around trolling everyone who was still hopeful; wanted to stick a knife in it if that were the case. We're good, then.

There's plenty more wrong with that picture to be skeptical about.

Yeah, now that I've looked at it more thoroughly, the grammar/syntax look like someone smashed their head into the keyboard a few times and the highlighting is pretty suspect.

To be fair, I had the brilliant idea of crammy my entire combat team into the shuttle to go on "a mission."

GUYS I HAVE A FABULOUS IDEA! Let's all get into the shuttle and just kinda fly around a bit and do absolutely nothing. I mean its not like there's anything around to do and obviously I'm just going to pick my team by eenie meenie minie moe once we get there so I have to have ALL of you in the shuttle.

I R SHEP N I R BRILLIANT.

(even though it was kinda Miranda's idea)

I know this sounds F-ed up but is there no indication in the mined files or the spoilers about wether we can crash the Normandy into a Reaper. Just BOOM, I'm taking y'all with me?!

God now I sound bitter and selfish. I now have to come to terms with the "Inbreed Lost Forever Alone Normandy Space Colony".......GRRRR......

Well like some fiolks have been saying , its not the destination, its the journey....there is gunna be some serious ugly bumpin on the way to total retardation and multiple ears and fingers.

Over 25 percent of all posts in this section are in this thread. The worst part is, the ending has yet to be seen by most fans. I can't wait till this swells up, maybe Bioware will take a hint that they screwed their fanbase over.

Question: I have no idea, maybe they take their sweet sweet time. And about the epilogue: you're right, it's not specifically stated it's the same planet. That's just the assumption going around right now. Tank did say the Normandy planet looked like Jurassic Park while the epilogue video looks more like a Christmas card.

SAFG's answer: That's because - as far as I know - there's no confirmation that the planet the Normandy crashes on and the planet that Stargazer is on is one in the same. In fact, considering the epilogue scene fires regardless of the ending you get (even the one that implies the Normandy crew is dead), there's little proof that the Normandy crew is permanently stranded or that they form an incestuous colony.

Considering the overall tone of the ending, I'd say it's unlikely they are stranded or that the ending is supposed to be considered 'sad'. Everyone's smiling and poo poo and looking at the sunrise, not wailing helplessly because they believe they're trapped forever.

That's my two cents on the matter.

It's very simple. If the "Grandpa & The Shepard" epilogue fires up even in case no one comes out of Normandy's hatch, then it mean the epilogue is NOT taking place on the same planet the Normandy crashed and that it is NOT implied that they never got away. If everyone died during crash, it means nobody produced synthetic/incestuous babies so Grandpa couldn't be born on this planet.

Not to mention, if the epiloge was taking place on the same planet, then there should've been two version of it: one with organic plants and Granpda, and one with synthetic plants and Grandp due to Synergy ending.

Satisfying lol, this makes me more and more extremely angry the more I see it in context.

I mean is this basically it? Perhaps this planet Normandy crashed on, is where this potential MMO takes place. Perhaps 500-1000 years later the human descendants of the inbreed colony will just be normal humans.

This whole thing is a MESS! Like I said in the other thread, I just feel like getting the WORST possible ending which in the end might be the best I can get anyway.

If they have - its intentional.

Go back to the old EA shareholder meeting - the one where they talked about taking the label / franchise whatever into new fans territory etc.

I get the feeling most game companies hate passionate fans - because the passionate fans are the ones who are going to bring out all the negatives - the majority of gamers won't care.

Then they'll release DLC for $20 where you can have a "good" ending.

Good thing I play on PC

Hmm~ That is true. Let's hope the Normandy found a way back or they still ended up in the Sol system. That might not be impossible to get back to Earth. I'm just grasping at air at this point.

I'm so glad BioWare doesn't have anymore series I'm in the middle of.wrote off DA awhile back,am going to stop the game (ME3)right before the choices.Might play it a couple of times to see all the dialog.
They can make all the map pack and weapon DLC for multiplayer they want.I am not buying any.

yeah it's ironic that most players after seeing this ending if they even want to play the trilogy again. Will go through getting people humanly killed so they never have to suffer this end. So in the end Shepard will just have practically no one except a few crew and a faceless galaxy. Be a lot easier to pick the merge ending then.

Okay, normally I'm just a lurker but I had an idea. Do we know that the planet the Normandy crashes on is uninhabited? Could it be colony world that wasn't evacuated or messed with by the reapers? So, maybe no inbreeding. Semi-happy ending for normandy crew.

It sucks that Tali and Garrus die but, Hey Bunnies!
