It'd be super chaotic, but if we got someone to stream pax, I'd totally be in for chatroom chaos.

yep, it would be insane, tho like you I'd be all for it.

Yes we will, and depending on what they say at PAX we will jump to 5000 in one day.

Haha, that is a scary thought

What are we going to do if they do give us a new ending? Celebrate? We should send them cupcakes again, but this time with "thank you" written on them or something lol

If they actually give us satisfying conclusions, multiple outcomes, FREE DLC,  and apoligize, then we need to get them a marauder shields cake.

I've solemnly sworn that if Bioware is willing to do something this big for the fans, I will buy every silly DLC they release on afterwards.
I will get pumped for Retake Omega and multiplayer unlockables.

If we get what we ask, and we decide to get them cupcakes, we should offer multiple choices!

For the cake part:

1) Red Velvet
2) Carrot Cake
3) Vanilla
4) Chocolate
5) Lemon
6) Strawberry

For the frosting:  Our imagination is the limit.  We should match the variety of cupcakes with the number of endings we can get.

Never before have so many come together, from all quarters of the world, but never before have we faced an enemy such as this.
The developers will show us no mercy. We must give them no quarter.
They will terrorize our populations. We must stand fast in the face of that terror.
They will advance until our last thread is closed, but we will not fall.
We will prevail.
Each of us will be defined by our actions in the coming battle.
Stand fast.
Stand Strong.
Stand together.
Hackett out.

TNG episode 31 "Loud as a Whisper" :P yep one of my favorite series as well, clearly, if i got them practically memorized:lol:

Will I get shot if I confess I have never understood the charm of Star Trek? I might be too young, but that didn't stop me from growing up with Star Wars... I actually watched those movies over and over again before I learned how to read, let alone to speak English. The thingy living in the trash compressor has a permanent place in my subconscious.

You know, I was thinking maybe(assuming this isnt livestreamed or something) that a chatroom could be made for us to chat in during pax. of course....might be hard to contain. was just an idea lol

Considering the number of people the ending pissed off, the chat would have so many participants and move so fast that no proper conversation would be possible ;)

It would be headache-inducing, stupid-hard to understand, and unquestionably beautiful.

lol not at all, and im not sure exactly why i like it a lot, i think its the theme that seems to be in every episode that no matter how bad things may get something good will come of it in the end that i like the idea of, theres enough misery and unhappiness/unpleasant endings in the world as it is (ME3 added to them unfortunately) so anything to make things seem better is a plus

just reading through my economics-notes. The term of "creative destruction":

"Old procedures, products, methods, concepts and techniques will be challenged, vanquished and displaced by new ones. The destruction is necessary so a new order can proceed.

The starchild is a goddamn econimist.

Just gotta throw this out there: DJBare, you've been absolutely awesome on this forum.
That big list of news articles we're collecting has been a great resource to show people, and I've been sending some articles out to other fans who haven't frequented the forums lately.
Just wanted to thank you for updating it so frequently and reposting it for our convenience.

Hold the line~

Same here. Without his posts, I would have missed a lot of polls, youtube videos, articles...

Most of them gave me a little hope. And that's important.

Why not, I have major sleeping problems anyway, so even though I'm in Europe and the presser will be held at night our time (I think), I could take part in the chaos.

That might be it. I don't like happy endings too much as a rule. And yes, I know SW has one too, but in my version, Empire wins. Personally I believe they would've won during return of the Jedi, had they had a certain grand admiral on board...
I'm something of an Empire fan girl, always have been too. I tend to shun the protagonist and naturally feel drawn to the villainous side, so me siding with Shepard in MEs is something of a rarity. Then again, ME universe doesn't have precisely 'sexy' antagonists, does it? (no Giger, your opinion does not count!) :P

Out of curiosity: Anyone know who will be popping up at PAX prior to or after EA/Bioware? I have a strong feeling that we can judge our success on who is going to show up first.

Remember: there are two things that will win us this: Numbers, and Peer Pressure. If Bethesda shows up with the intention of showcasing DLC, then I'm sure that EA will buckle under peer pressure, as I assure you, other companies are watching us VERY closely, waiting to take us under their wing, promise "we'll never do that to you, now let's leave the evil company alone", and shower us with "we did what they didn't because you are our beloved fanbase!". Other companies will definitely take this prime opportunity to gain more customers should everything go pear-shaped for EA. It's business, and if any company sees the chance to gain several hundred more people, they'll do it in a heartbeat.

And those other companies will have a very good point too. And win a number of them from the fans, make no mistake. :)
