Indeed I had thought about it, but I'm also attempting to keep the list from getting too long, were I the one on the recieving end of this list I'm pretty sure I'd begin to get irritated by it popping up every so many pages, so I'm attempting to be moderate with it.Nharia1 wrote...

Ever thought about maybe including FanFics that rewrite the endings on your epic list of links?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Hopefully they understand exactly how tight of a rope they are walking right now, and proceed accordingly. If they truly care about their work, or their fans, they will do the right thing.
On a side note, after doing some research into EA's business practices, I am fully convinced that they are to blame for how bad the endings were. Impossible deadlines and inhuman amounts of hours put into each work week can destroy even the simplest of projects.
EA was already voted the worst company in America by the Consumerist.
I'm sure they're well aware how small of a rope they have lol.

Yes, seeing that fan-made epilogue generator has confirmed that my problems with the ending have very little to do with "closure" or "clarity." The entire last five minutes (after collapsing at the control panel) would need to be scrapped and rewritten. I see no way to fix it as it exists now. To make a truly amazing ending, the whole Priority: Earth mission would also need to be reworked to show off how your various war assets are making a difference in the fight. I don't see them making either of those changes. So, I fully expect to be disappointed with what they announce on Friday.TamiBx wrote...
See, even though I think that the fan made epilogue was awesome, it does not fix the ending, explain plotholes or help us get over it anymore than the game itslef did.

Doubtful. Did you see their response to being voted the worst company in America?
"We're sure that British Petroleum, AIG, Philip Morris, and Halliburton

The only people who really take that seriously are the ones who wanted BofA to get the prize and I understand their reasoning, but in the industry it's a gag a joke.Fox544 wrote...

Exactly. I don't care what happened after I talked to Ghost Kid; everything made no sense. It doesn't explain anything. And I'm almost certain that they won't fix anything, but just clarify it...
The more I think about it, the worse I feel...

I agree with you both, I thought in ME3 everything was fine up til you met the star child....after that it was more of a "huh...wtf is going on?...I am so confused " then they decided to make us more confused with Joker f-ing off with your crew to the land of OZ...*sigh* I really hope they fix it, clarifying it is pretty much them saying
"Yeah you guys are all stupid for not understanding our "art" so we will just clarify it and hope you don't notice, morons"
Though I do not count myself to be very smart I am not THAT stupid.

If the ending of a video game must be explained in details to more than 10 people, then there is something really wrong with it...just sayin...

You make a good point....but that would make nearly 60,000 of their own fans equally as stupid and I just don't buy that.
I have no doubt that they are smarter than myself, but I'm not alone in this so it's not me it's them

This ^ image is me trying to convince Bioware to give us a new ending. Seriously, just remake the whole ending and charge us. There, tons of money, and a little happier fans. <_<
EDIT: actually, when I went to test the video game my school is making yesterday, they made me wear these fancy glasses with a camera and microphone, so they could record me playing it. It was cool

Also notice they had no responce to the Consumerist's rebuttal or the Forbes article detailing why they're hated? EA can play it off all they want but in the ending its a pure act for the shareholders.

I think the root of the overall problem is the corporate culture over at EA. The mindset and thinking of the top corporate executives always trickles down to the lower levels. Before Bioware became part of EA their culture was orientated towards create quality game with a lot of depth and great writing. The problem right now is that the culture over at EA is concerned completely with obtaining my maximum profit with the least amount of effort. Now that they have been part of EA awhile we are seeing the parents company culture taking hold within the child.
I have read Ray Muzyka stating that Bioware is still in full control of their decisions and creative process, and I don't doubt that he believes it, but whether or not they realize it they are being converted over to EA's way of think. This in turn affects their day to day decisions. As much as we joke about the rEApers and Bioware being indoctrinated, it is not far from the truth. Except instead of advanced technology doing it, it's being done by corporate culture.

An article about how EA used child's play to promote Battlefield DLC. So basically it was allowed to promote a third-party cause while Retake Mass Effect was not.
I know that we were using it as a form of protest and EA was not, but it is still a third party cause, and that is exactly why our charity was shut down.
