For some reason listening to this makes me happy.

Helps me cope with the unhappiness I still have over ME3's ending.

Makes you wonder what their real reason for shutting down is...

Retake is a protest group, EA was advertising products, I was against(not opposed) the idea of Retake using the charity because I already saw the outcome which was made worse by people asking for their money back, Retake got out by the skin of their teeth on that one, as for anything else, I'd much prefer we steer clear of conspiracy theories in this thread.

Found that about a year ago, I still watch it just to gawk at how awesome it is. There was a shockingly good Grunt one too, but I can't seem to find him yet.

Yum, hot chocolate.
It won't be too long now, just a couple more days and we'll have our news!

If the news is bad do we change the line into a trench with bayonets?I'm keeping my expectations low so I can be surprised.

Heres an interesting read on the Child Play donations. It brings up some very interesting questions.....

http://www.cinemable...ct-3-41139.html

Oh and let me point out EA got voted the most hated company in America today...

http://www.ibtimes.c...re-ea-games.htm

and of coarse the were smug about it.

Doubtful. Did you see their response to being voted the worst company in America?

"We're sure that British Petroleum, AIG, Philip Morris, and Halliburton
are all relieved they weren't nominated this year. We're going to
continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300
million people worldwide.”

They essentially said "lolwutevar"

That was actually a somewhat clever response. They deflected by pointing out the various Mega unpopular corps in some shady industries such as tobacco. It sorta highlights the absurdity of them winning the award. Yeah they may or may not be one of the worst things in the gaming industry, but I don't think most people would honestly consider them worse than some of the corporations mentioned, some of whom have arguably killed or ruined the lives if tens of thousands. They also tried to come off snarky and joking about it. So I'd say well played on their part. Doesn't mean they don't suck. :P

Consumerist left the companies they mentioned out of the running because they won in previous years. Otherwise, I'm sure Halliburton could have taken it all due to their war profiteering. Or BP for their environmental devastation.

Doesn't change the fact that EA treats customers like a burden(worst. customer. service. EVER.) except for when it comes to their customers buying stuff from them, or how they overwork their employees with minimal or no compensation, and crapify games because they want a lot of money NOW, rather than a LOT more money LATER because they did something right for once.

And for the record, this isn't an EA smear campaign/bashfest. I am merely repeating information I uncovered in my research on their business practices. Except the customer service thing, that one is all personal experience. I swear, the only response they're allowed to give is "no." Then they're trained to sit in silence when you ask why.

Checking back in to hold the line.

So, I turn 30 years old today and would anyone care to guess what I really want?
Hint: Something to do with ME3 ending and PAX East

PS. Can anyone comment on this article http://www.examiner....g-clarification ??? It seems the voice actors are going to record new lines...

They were always going to record new dialogue. DLC has always been planned for ME3. As to what that DLC is, we have no idea... yet.

Yes, it was clever. But there's such a thing as being too clever for your own good. The power of sarcasm is a lot weaker than the power of association. People will remember his having associated EA with those companies long after they've forgotten why.

Fair point, though I'd say the damage is already done by that point. They're already associated with various negative companies based on the sort of head to head playoff style runnings EA went through to get the "prize." I'd say by that point their best bet is to subtly attack the entire selection process by dragging out those terribly unpopular corps at once and allowing people to conclude on their own that maybe suggesting EA is just as bad or worse is pretty absurd. Just my take.

It must be free, or I will assume that the bad ending was intentional and rage about having to buy a proper ending seperately from the game.

Better endings provided by whoever made this: http://shannon.users...net/masseffect/ ' class='bbc_url' title='Lien externe' rel='nofollow external'> http://shannon.users...net/masseffect/

Don't be dissuaded by it being just text; give it a try.
