It is in the list, but I named it "Remember how you felt before the ending"; I've renamed it to the correct title now and it will show the next time I post the list.Little Miss Angel wrote...
Do you mean the never ending nightmare?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Assuming they do announce ending DLC, I would love it if it was free. But, if it's something they never planned on doing, and they delivered some kind of apology for the nonsensical ending, I would be willing to fork over some money to cover development costs.
That's a lot of if's and buts though.

Fair point, though I'd say the damage is already done by that point. They're already associated with various negative companies based on the sort of head to head playoff style runnings EA went through to get the "prize." I'd say by that point their best bet is to subtly attack the entire selection process by dragging out those terribly unpopular corps at once and allowing people to conclude on their own that maybe suggesting EA is just as bad or worse is pretty absurd. Just my take.SkaldFish wrote...
Yes, it was clever. But there's such a thing as being too clever for your own good. The power of sarcasm is a lot weaker than the power of association. People will remember his having associated EA with those companies long after they've forgotten why.CitizenSnips28 wrote...

I think it goes without saying that anything Bioware makes in the future is a potential waste of time and money. I spent a lot of money on them and they let me down. I won't make the same mistake again. It would have been so easy for them to have secured my continued patroage. I wonder if they realize how close they are from becoming one of the many laughing-stocks of the industry. I hope EA's money was worth it.
I can't think of anything else I've bought from EA recently. I find them repulsive.

I'm getting to that point where I don't really feel mad anymore. I have other stuff to do, things to read, games to play. If Bioware doesn't fix this, I won't spend a cent on Mass Effect ever again. Not to punish them, but because the purchase wouldn't be worth anything to me now.

EA is like the dark side.
Tempting because of the faster, easier way to gain money but it will only lead to destruction.

I feel envy for you. I still feel quite angry, but now, that anger has become complex being influenced and driven by more than the intelectual rape that was the ending of ME3. Now I also look at Bioware and their lip service without action, and the attitude that EA has displayed against its customers and i truly wish to scream, do insanely anti social things, and generally cause violent mayhem ( like i can even get out of my chair anymore..right.. ). I wish i could reach that point of being numb. Instead i find myself hoping for the best, but expecting the usual..
I guess we'll see in the next few days huh??

Yeah in no way am I saying that's the right or ethical response, just that it makes sense from a pragmatic stance. It sure would be nice if they were willing to admit they must be doing some things very wrong to get such a poor reputation, but that rarely happens.

I kinda feel the same way. Perhaps I've reached the acceptance phase. Honestly, while I would feel pretty disappointed, if Bioware announces only minor ending clarification changes at PAX I can live with it. Ill move on and certainly avoid buying any dlc. For me the worst thing that could happen at PAX would be for Bioware to continue walking the line and being vague. I don't know what I'd do if they played that game.

I'm with you, they should have. Actually the fact Empire is ever conserned about the Rebel Alliance befuddles me. A huge, efficiently trained military vs rebels, riff-raff and random rogues (even if some of the older military personnel did join them).
The senario is not quite as daft as it seems, and even leaving out the whole 'Force-directed' thing is not as far-fetched as you might think.
The Empire was large, but it also had to protect a vast area. As military forces have discovered throughout history numbers count for little if you have to spread them out over a large area, and your opponents are smart enough not to try and match strength with strength.
The Empires power was also a weakness because it was invested in a single individual, and then down to local warlords who were compeating for attention and power from the 'King'. Again, history shows that if you have a large empire with power invested in the above manner. Then the leader is killed, those warlords have a habit of fighting each other over who gets to rule next.
Last of all in the case of the Battle for Endor the Imperial fleet lost both of its commanders within minutes - first Admiral Piett, then the Palpatine. Coupled with the distinct 'by the book no exceptions' mentality of the Imperial Navy, this mean that without clear leadership and in a 'brawl' (in this case a very chaotic, close quarters fight) the Imperial Captains were unsure how to react.
Again this is supported by Naval history in the real world. Trafalger is a good example of a small fleet, with Captains who were expected to use their own judgement, taking on a far larger fleet who's Captains were not for the most part capable of thinking 'outside the book'. Like the (fictional) Battle of Endor the British fleet closed and engaged their opponents in a chaotic 'brawl', and as a result the command structure of the Spanish and French fleets vanished - not through death but because the flagship was obscured by smoke and unable to pass on orders. Unable to adapt many of the French and Spanish Captains just followed 'the book' - With the exception of The French Redoubtable (I think that's the right ship) the entire van of the combined fleet sailed peacefully into port without having fired a shot.
So intentional or not, Lucas and later writers did end up producing a senario that is reasonably 'realistic'.

I'm not sure if if people like the babies becuase they are blue, but they like to help babies because they are blue. This guy exlplains it better, cause I've been drinking.
about 2 minutes in he explains purple people. i think that the same would apply for blue babies.
