What color would be using a Renegade interrupt and throwing Conrad Verner into the Catalyst to disintegrate instead of Shepard?

Obviously that would be papaya whip. Good sir, do you not know your colors?

The Normandy was away from Earth the same way the Citadel is near Earth...plot magic. Hence the color show at the end.

Neon green is a delightful color I'm sure if they had that option it would end with Shep having tea with the Turian councilor while wearing a chicken mascot costume.

Damn it, I was hoping for a rave with the Asari councilor and the consort.

I am starting to think you like asari....:police:

Not underaged ones, I swear, Mr. Cop! All my asari "friends" are at least 100 years old, I promise!

That would have been the Razzmatazz (apparently a real color) ending

Is that DLC?

She imprinted on me its not my fault! I swear she'll look grown by 7!

You don't know the plot so don't pretend like you do. You know the ending. That's it.

I'm picking red. And making sure Shepard dies in the process. No way she would want to live forever alone anyway.

I never thought I'd be so upset about this. I need hugs.

Gives you a hug. Yeah I know the feeling. They went too far :/

Thank you.
I'm still trying to understand how they could possibly think we would feel happy and rewarded with those endings.

Because they want people to realize that with the world outside bleak (unemployment, wars, civil unrest, etc.) we can't even have video games to escape into, the only way out is a bullet to the head.

speaking of Hanar, how the heck did they survive the last reaping? I mean they said they were around at the end of the protheans. *never felt like reading Hanar codex*

They'd have field day with that...

Also, fear not! When you choose a perfect Destroy, AND leave behind your favorite crew member, you get to survive and have headcanon space beer with Admiral Garrus in blowed-upped London!

Truly a victory for the forces of justice!

Something Awful Forums Guy comes to the rescue again:

Question: I have no idea, maybe they take their sweet sweet time. And about the epilogue: you're right, it's not specifically stated it's the same planet. That's just the assumption going around right now. Tank did say the Normandy planet looked like Jurassic Park while the epilogue video looks more like a Christmas card.

SAFG's answer: That's because - as far as I know - there's no confirmation that the planet the Normandy crashes on and the planet that Stargazer is on is one in the same. In fact, considering the epilogue scene fires regardless of the ending you get (even the one that implies the Normandy crew is dead), there's little proof that the Normandy crew is permanently stranded or that they form an incestuous colony.

Considering the overall tone of the ending, I'd say it's unlikely they are stranded or that the ending is supposed to be considered 'sad'. Everyone's smiling and poo poo and looking at the sunrise, not wailing helplessly because they believe they're trapped forever.

That's my two cents on the matter.

It's very simple. If the "Grandpa & The Shepard" epilogue fires up even in case no one comes out of Normandy's hatch, then it mean the epilogue is NOT taking place on the same planet the Normandy crashed and that it is NOT implied that they never got away. If everyone died during crash, it means nobody produced synthetic/incestuous babies so Grandpa couldn't be born on this planet.

Not to mention, if the epiloge was taking place on the same planet, then there should've been two version of it: one with organic plants and Granpda, and one with synthetic plants and Grandp due to Synergy ending.

Silver lining?

Yeah that's the part I'm struggling to understand. Apparently Mac Walters has a very different idea of what satisfying and rewarding is to what we do. Call me old fashioned but I'd have been fine with a reasonably happy Bioware ending with varying degrees of success based on your choices. Too much time invested in the story for it to end like this.

This actually falls in line with my earlier remarks regarding reducing the squad's dialogue to Zaeed levels.

Indeed. I spent countless hours trying to create the "perfect" playthrough, hoping for a relatively happy ending. I still wanted sad endings, mind you. But this feels like a punishment more than anything else.

I loved the endings of DA:O. You had a bittersweet element no matter what choice you made, but I did not feel like it was a slap in the face, like here.

Sorry if I make mistakes, Frenchie here.
