Lol this, have you all seen what those soldier mummies of his can do? And I'm pretty sure none of you have the Gold book so controlling them is out of the question haha just watch the pyramids like said above

if you dont agree with say so politly
if you get angry its better not to say anything
@blacqout this is a thread about not liking the endings surley you know that, you have said your piece wich you are welcome to, but as i said this thread is about not liking the ending there are other threads to go if you wish to discuss liking it. or why dont you start a debate thread.

Lol we seem to be in agreement yet again, I don't care for MMO's either, I really wanted to see a KOTOR 3 instead of SWTOR

SWTOR is actually ok for a MMO but has a feeling of being rushed out too early.  Think the legacy update should have been implemented when the game was released.  If Bioware fix things then I would gladly subscribe again.

As for tomorrow the "I've got a bad feeling about this" comes to my mind or maybe I'm just a little to pessimistic.  I've also noted round the forum that the ending is not the only thing ppl are going to complain about.

What i have done is show a Jesus-like ability to turn the other cheek, and remain cordial in the face of bullies.

your tumbler says otherwise

first line
"in the words of Pitne For, they’re a scummy bunch… even by whiny gamer standards."

I'm describing a movement, not a single person. I also talked about the devious methods of said movement, which led to my appropriating a relevant Mass Effect quote.

oh then there is this
"The point is that the Retake movement is fraught with fraudsters and pond life, and cannot be trusted.

oh and this
"It is also curious that although the Retake movement claims to have over
50,000 members, only a fraction actually donated to the Childs Play
charity. We know that they lie and cheat when it comes to online polls,
so it’s quite apparent that they also use similarly nefarious means to
bolster their numbers."

you are insulting us, PEOPLE! it dosnt matter that your not insulting one of us, your insulting our entire group, your laying claims on us and insulting us and calling us names,

get out, ive already reported you

To say that a movement is "fraught" with fraudsters, would imply that not everyone in the movement is like that.

Look at this thread, look at the names i've been called and the sheer number of people that have been les than polite. If you think that your group is full of nice people, you're deluded.

There have been multiple threads on this very forum in which a Retaker has linked an online poll in an attempt to rally the drones to manipulate the results, giving the illusion that more people are unhappy than is actually the case.

Your last quote isn't an insult, it's a fact that the moderators of this forum will be acutely aware of.

My, my. Aren't you a charming fellow.

This is the level of discourse welcomed, while i am repeatedly asked to leave. The Retake movement is hardly painting itself in glory.

well, what did you expect? :/
there are some things that just aren't called for. like poking a nest full of frustrated, tired and exhausted hornets.

if you're actually looking for proper discourse about the ending and different opinions, i suggest heading to another thread. here you pretty much landed in the 'smalltalk about the ending and why we DIDN'T like it'.. were we do exactly that while trying to keep moral and spirits up. currently we're just waiting for pax.

i don't think it's appropiate to pretty much break down the front door and accusing us of being the last scum while we're having tea and cookies and 'awww' over cute cat pictures.

even i start feeling personally offended by most of your accusations and i usually don't get offended that easily.

Oh are you refering to the Super old Mummy movies? Or the new ones~!? xD Both of them are equally good for their time~! :D

Newer ones. They are perferct feel-good-don't-think action movies ^_^
I even liked the newest, though I admit it's the weakest of the bunch.

EDI would have been perfect for that role -   Shepard never got anywhere with out his or her team, It was the team that took down Saren and the team that  took down the collectors.  Why change it at the  ending.
It  should have been the Team  taking down Harby and the  Catalyst.

I like that idea, I'd not considered EDI, I guess it's because I lost legion after he uploaded himself to the geth consesus, and EDI would certainly be at risk connecting to the catalyst, while she has some reaper code, would it be enough to protect her from the catalyst hacking in defense, even taking over the reaper code she carries.

Well, Casey Hudson has said once or twice that there will be additional post-release content. Say BioWare planned to release three big mission add-ons, like they did with ME2. If one of those is spent on a new ending, then that's one less extra mission for me to enjoy.

I have no real preference over what themes should be explored or what any additional content should be about, other than it shouldn't just rehash something we've already experienced in the game. I'd rather the resources be spent creating something totally new.

I appreciate that there are some minor problems with the ending, but i was able to overcome them myself with a little extroplation. I don't need or want BioWare to fill in the blanks i've already filled in myself.

See that's the thing though, you see/saw how the story ended satisfactory to your tastes. Consequently the game fulfilled it's purpose for you. You felt everything that happened turned out the way it was supposed to.
For those who are dissatisfied though they aren't asking Bioware to scrap what they have in order to make way for new ones. What they ( myself included) want is the 16 different endings that Bioware said was possible.

So not only would you get to keep the ending you found satisfactory, but those who wanted more answers and who even wanted to prove catalyst kiddo wrong based on the choices they made could get that as well. There are other things I may have forgot to mention others would like, but you should see where I'm going with this.

You said you don't want Bioware to fill in the blanks since you have done so. Well if new additional endings came forth your story would still exist and you'd never have to touch or even think about the other endings since you found what was there to be enough.

So what's the issue then? You got what you wanted, seems its only fair that to those who expected better of Bioware to ask/ request/ encourage them to throw them a bone.

You in the end lose nothing.

I am making myself heard.

Now BioWare can look at this thread and see that actually, not everyone dislikes the ending. They'll also note that the one person expressing a fondness of the ending has, in the face of overwhelming unpleasentness, remained calm and respectfull... and probably be happy that the nicer members of the community enjoyed their product, while a majority of the less nice ones didn't.

i wish i was still hopfull about the ending, and i just wish i could talk to the people at bioware and ask them why they have destoryed ME, why they felt the need to be 'edgy' with the ending

idk im rambling, just ive been hit by a sudden depresion when it comes to the endings today, i guess i give up, idk,
il still be watching the new, and the forums, but i guess it will likly be with ice cream near by

I understand you perfectly; you write very well.

There was a big to-do over the Female Shepard's hair. BioWare held a poll to decide on an official likeness for the Female Shepard to appear on ME3 marketing materials, and an overwhelming majority voted in a blonde Shepard.

Unfortunately, some fans complained and made really disgusting remarks, forcing BioWare to hold a secondary poll, which far fewer people were aware of, and in which a redheaded likeness won. It's kind of a big issue for me, as i've always been somthing of a champion of social justice.

In regards to the Retake movement being rude, this thread is a perfect example. Some members are decent people, but a lot act like children. Petty name-calling, highschool-level silent treatment and shunning. It's sad, and somewhat unfortunate that those people are among the most ardent supporters of the cause.

Well, thanks for my english, but i know my limits.
About ME3 official female hair color, this is OT... however i will have liked more a blonde one, but i am me and you are you, we are only two people... if bioware have made a poll about it and the so called "majority" in that polls choose red... i cannot argue.  (But i can create my female one into ME1 or ME2 and then import that hair color).
About being rude, there are a lot of people on forums (generally), some follow the rules, the civil, the netiquette, some not. I cannot truly recall any forum on internet (i'm 28) where i've posted (and i've seen a lot of forums) where you cannot find rude people too.
To reply to you however:
1) What i think of ME1/ME2/ME3 are mine (and only mine) opinions.
2) Bioware had made some DLC for ME series in the past, i've liked some of them, but not all (i've however buyed them all).
3) If Bioware make an Ending DLC unfree they will get more money, with this money they can make more DLC (for other people).
4) A lot of press/magazines are talking about the bad endings, so they're siding with us. This is good for BW/EA, because every one who have agreed with the movement will remember that the movement itself says "Beatiful game, however for us hardcore fans the end don't make sense.", so, if the bioware "listen" to us, this will give em more fans, more credits, more funds from EA, so more DLC for you too. In some ways, having the BW listening to us will make more people play this game (good or bad this is), more people = more money, we, or better, the petition about the movement states that we do like the game, we do not like the end, i've agreed to this even if i do not like a lot of things into ME3, but those are my opinion.
5) If more people play this game and BW make an alternate ending (call it how you want), we will be pleased, however people like you can try to ask some dedicated unfree DLC, so, you can give them the generic idea about the dlc and they (if they like that idea) can make a good DLC, like the law of request-offer of economy.

To end this post:
If you see it from another point of view we're working for you too, but we've made clear that we do not want to change the actual ending. That will be bad for people (like you) who have liked the "original" ending. A dlc can work too for us. This way BW can please us and you (not touching the original ending) ;)

oh, by the way, if anyone's interested: nearly cracked the 200€ mark with the marauder shields/never forget t-shirt sales. just saw it this morning. that's around.. hmm.. 260$ :D
i know.. not 'that' much, but considering that 20% of every t-shirt is only around 2-4€ i think it's pretty nice. :)
and as a reminder, i'll be donating the money on the 11th of april. (same day i'll take the shirts down.) maybe by then we even have a 'we held the line' shirt. :>

Dont you see this? With this you are bveing offensive actually! There are meny people like me following this thread, and a few who have been very offensive towards you. And yet you stat that I, who actually hates the ending as it is, am not a "nice member".

I never wrote to you, never replied anything, and many have neither, yet you are calling me and so many others "the less nice ones" for not agreeing with you.

I think your goal really is getting this thread shut down, and I have to admit you are very close to it, given how some people had to reply to your seemingly modest posts.

Thanks for that

I have an anatomy guide for artists. It's vaguely gold-coloured, and heavy enough, so I suppose we could bash footsoldier mummies with it to death. Does thas count as controlling them?

What a good boy you are then, shining ray of hope and overall nice chap. I'm sure it'll be as you said: people at Bioware will look at the thread and think "Wait, guys! Forget about Amazon giving full refunds on opened copies of ME3, and prices dropping drastically over the first month after release, forget about this rude whiners who want the new endings - the only polite guy is on our side!"
