Dont you see this? With this you are bveing offensive actually! There are meny people like me following this thread, and a few who have been very offensive towards you. And yet you stat that I, who actually hates the ending as it is, are not a "nice member".

You misunderstand my comment.

I wasn't saying that all of the Retakers are like that - in a previous sentence i actually said that many were seemingly pleasant people. What i was saying is that in this discussion, the majority (100 percent, in fact) of the unpleasentness was coming from the Retake movement.

I have an anatomy guide for artists. It's vaguely gold-coloured, and heavy enough, so I suppose we could bash footsoldier mummies with it to death. Does thas count as controlling them?

I've got some wooden practice weapons that we could use for self defence while you break out the book~!

What a good boy you are then, shining ray of hope and overall nice chap. I'm sure it'll be as you said: people at Bioware will look at the thread and think "Wait, guys! Stop replying to him, as he's not just stating his opinion, but trying to troll you. It's pretty obvious when you look everywhere in the net and the serious critics and you just see the real minority that likes the current endings. I respect that, to be honest, but some of them should respect us too, even more more when we're just asking for something that was advertised as being part of the game.

Exactly  she  is the emboidment of the what the   Catalyst is not,  her whole story arc is  complete refusal of the Catalyst  philosophy.  Hell she even states the  Reapers disgust her....

It's kind  of an unwritten rule to prevent the thread becoming spammy, embedded images in themselves are normally ok, but it becomes a problem when folk quote the images, it's normal to get several folk quoting the "same" image.

I'm not being confused, i'm trying to point out where this havoc here is coming from, and why one might think you're doing this on purpose.

Also as I said before, I am not part of the movement, but I am agreeing with them considering their concerns with the ending.

You are not, and of course you are free to state that here and in every forum you choose to. Please just make sure you don't provoke people into insulting you with comments like "and probably be happy that the nicer members of the community enjoyed their product, while a majority of the less nice ones didn't."

You are smart enough to know that comments like this can be considered as what some people are refering to as "feeding trolls", aiming at making this thread look bad.
Ignore the insulters as they should have ignored you, and I am sure there is much you can discuss about here

I don't care about a "happy" ending. I just want an ending that makes sense. Sheperd has the option to create peace with the geth and quarian, and at the end, you either have to destroy the geth with the reapers.... or "control" the reapers (despite constantly thinking the illusive man was crazy... otherwise wouldn't shepherd have joined him?)... or synthesize (which goes against choice).

And what's with blowing up the mass relays? If you like the galactic community, you HAVE to choose control. Otherwise, people get stranded without FTL. Sure, the protheans managed to build a one-way mass effect gate. But we don't know how.

Never mind that it doesn't really say what happens to all the characters. I don't care that it's not a happy ending. NONE of the endings fit with the 3 games that lead up to them.

It would have been better like this: no choice at the end. No starchild. Ending is dictated by your earlier actions. You show-down with TIM, then blow up the reapers. Geth survive if you made peace with them, mass effect gates survive, and there's no crazy weird ending.

If we then got an epilogue showing where people ended up, great. But 'closure' isn't the issue, it's an ending that just contradicts itself no matter what you choose.

The ending would have been infinitely better even if it just cut to a black screen after the showdown with TIM.

I loved the rest of the game.

To be fair, you are not the sole polite voice in this thread. And as you stated, while the rude people do not ambody the retake movement as a whole, neither do you embody the people outside retake movement. As one comment already said, you are you, I am me, let's leave it at that.

I can't help but to nocite you are ignoring some of the polite messages, mine included. Surely just a matter of limited resources of human attention, but sometimes girl likes to get some attention, if you get my dirft 

I do still feel your cause could be better executed via some other medium, such as contacting Bioware, starting your own topic, maybe a facebook group.

Back from an extended lurk. Was just watching The Gruen Transfer, a show on advertising and they were discussing when Dominos Pizza owned up to making bad pizzas as part of a new advertising campaign. Made me realise it is possible for BW to fess up and turn things into a positive. We have seen it before in gaming, which seems to me a good sign.

Seems a good topic for discussion, and a blatant, if clumsy attempt by me to help get us back on topic.
