I really don't ask for much:

1. Just have Shepard say (if he survives) to say Garrus (If he lives on earth) that he's going to look for the crew, or just have him find them.
2. Let me, y'know, choose things.
3.The Blackstorm.
Finally:
4. To have "Calibrations" and "Sir Issac Newton" be referenced at least one time each.

Then you can happily take my money, and I will let this game be my favorite game in my favorite series of all time. Which I had already hoped it would be.

I forget where but I heard someone say they went further with the 'calibrations' thing than they did before. While the joke amuses me I feel like its going to be waaay over done if that's true

I can't believe people are actually defending Bioware on this! Fanbois will be fanbois I guess.

Looks like I'm cancelling my pre order, it's too bad BioWare is terrible now :/

So who is worse guys, Peter Molyneux or Casey Hudson +everyone else on the staff?

Molyneux is a master of the craft. Casey got by because he was trusted, more or less.

Molyneux is only a master of hype.

Fable is overrated by several orders of magnitude.

ME1 was more entertaining than all three Fable games combined..

Nuh huh!

Molyneux made games before Fable, you know? He had a hand in classics like Dungeon Keeper, Syndicate, Magic Carpet and ****ing Populous, for chrissakes.

THE INTERNET.

Seriously. Leaks all over the place since last Fall, all the way up to people finishing the 'Space' edition of the game and posting vids and screenshots and describing the endings.

I'd say the information released by the Space Ed. players only confirm the leaks. So it's all pretty legit and very very disappointing in the end.

There have been screenshots posted here, but they may have been lost in all of the replies. One screenshot in particular shows the Normandy having crash landed somewhere, though it isn't clear where. The person who posted the screenshots says that it seems pretty definite that there is NO way for this to be avoided.

What I take away from this screenshot is that this crash is something that can definitely happen, without a doubt. I'm reserving judgment about the rest.

Six or seven endings all virtually the same? Heck, BW had only TWO endings to deliver - one, your decisions mattered and Sheppard get a chance at life with his crew. And two - if you didn't do all the quests then you get the ugly ending. Jeez how difficult is that?

Shush, don't disturb the sleeping Bioware writers. They'll be cranky in the morning.

I'm not much of a poster, but I had a thought I would like to share if it has not been brought up already. Since we know these endings were in the space editions and the leaked script. Maybe it was possible these endings were copy pasted from the leaked script(but were replaced) into the copies for the few that got the space editions in order to throw everyone off the trail of the supposed "great" endings? The real endings are shipped with the actual copies coming out on the 6th/9th. Could explain why a lot of things don't make much sense. These ideas were originally thought up but scrapped for different ones, but kept around for another use..I hate these endings just as much as most everyone here so I really hope they are not true.

Well, you did get me to have a real laugh! And if its the color that gets them off then it really does help to be high! At least the colors are awesome for all those space cadets!

I guess I'll throw in my two cents since I've been watching this play back and forth. Be prepared for tl;dr.

The first game made it clear that the fight with the reapers was NOT going to be easy. It took a lot of sacrifice and power to kill one, and imagining an entire fleet of them... I just couldn't process it. Part of me still believes it's a fruitless endeavor and Shepard and earth and everyone are all gonna be destroyed and everything's going to be for naught. There's absolutely no possible way there's going to be a happy ending to this series. There never was. The entire point of it, even as stated by Femshep in the trailer, is survival at its basest. Nothing else.

I always imagined Shepard pulling a heroic sacrifice to save everyone. That's, at least, the Shepard I played through the games with and imagine. Him/her dying is acceptable to me, because of the situation, and I'm surprised there's an ending where he/she lives at all. Since Earth is revealed to be ground zero for the reaper invasion, I don't imagine it lasting long. If I can somehow save it with a large enough fleet of my own, great. But being attacked so quickly by that much firepower and planning doesn't leave much to the imagination.

As to the Normandy crashing, I'm thrilled they survive at all. I thought they would be blasted to bits in the gunfire or go down with Shepard. I don't care if they're stranded, all that matters to me is that they're alive. From the grandpa/grandson video that was released, they were able to live on peacefully and have families. Considering they were just about to be violently wiped out by a race of sentient machines, I'd say that's an improvement. The details aren't clear about the specific companions, such as Tali or Garrus, so I'll simply have to wait for the release.

There are things Bioware does that I like, and there are things they do that I can't stand. I'm not about to forsake a series and cut off a pre-order because it may not end quite how I wanted it to. I wanted a lot of things that I didn't get just like in any other thing ever, just like everyone else, but I'm excited about the final release of my favorite series and I'm going to play the crap out of it. I love my Shep and I won't leave her hanging like that.

Those 50 or so are my brothers and sister in arms and they mean more to me than BW tries to understand. Sheppard proved that in ME 2 - no one gets left behind! The Sheppard I created and play would NEVER settle for a missing crew. Never! That goes against everything my Sheppard stood for and the quality of this man. BW never seems to get this at all. Which is why these endings are so pointless in the extreme.
