True, true... I think them making it free will give them more of an exucuse if this does go terribad.
"But it's free!"

A kick in the scrotum is also free...that doesn't mean I'm going to look forward to experiencing one.

lmao!!

Truer words were never spoken.
Thank you. I really needed a good giggle right about now. :D

*Bows*

It seems my lot in life is to be either too serious, or to try and lighten tension through the odd quip...Mr Bond should be worried. I'm practicing my one-liners for when my killing spree starts

That's not the worst bit: It's to be released "in summer".

Summer... let me see, that's how many months away? Well, it's the fifth of April now, so that's about 25 days until the beginning, but I'd bet EA will not release in July, so that'd be nearly up to three months.

Imagine this: Three months to give us a minute or two of extra content, in the form of cutscenes and I'd bet maybe an "investigate" option with one or two characters at the end. Now that I think about it: Activision and it's yearly co-worker (IW or treyarch) give out a fully released game in 24 months, so that's around about 1/8th of a game in three months. Looks like EAware is getting lazy, or they're giving us about 1 hour of extra content.

One hour of extra content... nah, after what I've seen about EAWare's laziness, it's not gonna happen, is it?

Ha, yeah, they will hope people will quiet down a bit. Thats why there would be a delay of a few months. A month to 1.5 I would be fine with. Beyond that, it gets a bit redundant.

As for EAWare laziness. Should be used to it by now. DA2, TOR, ME3...come on...its the new trend for them. Make an epic story, then find some way to completely kill it.
DA2 - Reused areas. Same damn caves, that sort of thing.
TOR - Play it through once and it is too boring to be bothered doing it again (lets not start on the crafting).
ME3 - Well...yeah...:?
That being said, yeah, chances of good extra content seems rather unlikely. If they do put out decent content, buy a lottery ticket...

Oh man,....I feel so sorry for you after reading this. :(
Nothing much I can offer though except maybe a hug?

Oh wow...I didn't say it to get sympathy, just to vent. I hope I didn't come across as someone seeking sympathy.
Hugs are always good, even online ones lol.

Oh, no no no!
It's just that I can totally relate to you.

I, too, had my share of (mental) break-downs after I finished ME3...still have them from time to time.
It's not that I'm in actual physical pain but losing you appetite or interest in anything else...it kinda wears you down.
Just wanted you to know that your not alone on that front. :)

Damn, now I feel like I'm the one looking for attention. Which is not the case, btw. :P

Calm down soldiers!

Clarification is a vague term here. They said in their releases so far that we were apparently asking for clarification, but that is not what we said. It's PR talk.

Wait for tomorrow. Wait for PAX. The platoon there will hopefully get the answers we need.
I for one am happy that there has been a statement. Don't throw hate around before you definitely know what is coming.

Now stow those Revenants and get back in the line, we're not done yet and we're not leaving!

Well if it is what I suspect it is, just a collect of videos trying to make sense of the unholy mess of an ending, then I won't even bother downloading it...might as well watch it on YouTube. Won't be any different...

Oh well, maybe tomorrow they'll give us some details to make it worrth downloading when its released

Ahh I see, well sometimes online it is definitely a bit harder to see what people mean....maybe we should all speak like Elcor? lol

I guess more people relate to my overall feelings. Just glad not many of you have to cope with the physical aspects of my worrying over everything.

Man, listen to that guy trying to claim that it's more important to listen to Game Reviewers rather than actual Consumers. Of course devs should make games according to Consumers' desires, that's how capitalism works. If you've got 10 critic reviews and 1,000 consumer reviews...

Metacritic has way too much power, imo. You can't put a proper number on the quality of a game because our standards are all different.

EA won! Hold The Line!

Dunno how I feel about this.

I see what the article says, trying to not demean those who voted for the result of their poll, or the validity of the manner in which they chose to run it (open online polls), but really...

BOA has DESTROYEED lives. EA may go as far as to destroy the little part of lives that we do look forward to and enjoy, but BOA's responsibility and importance to its customers is FAR greater than that of EA.

This makes me sad.

You can vote as often as you like on this one, it seems (or once per IP) and you have to remember that most of the people who have been screwed over by BOA don't have as ready access as those who have been screwed over by EA. Take the poll with about a pound of salt.

'Nuff said on the subject.

Its not a new ending , but its better than nothing. Mass effect is known to have good closure in their games so i have faith bioware will make what they want in the game right this time. As long as i dont see the same outcome in the 3 endings im fine.

Get the Witcher 2 when it comes out. Dealing with a company that treats its customers with respect should help calm you down.

Aye stay frosty Auckland, the south must hold. Might I suggest Galaxy Quest as A helpful comfort DVD? Corny and with some reaper sized plot holes, but it always cheers me up.

That's never what we asked for. At least not entirely. Yes, we asked for closure. But you know what else we asked for? Getting rid of plot holes. As it stands, they prefer to explain their plot holes. The team they are sending there will be probably doing nothing but clarifying their announcement. It's quite well timed, don't you think? Trying to appease the fans before PAX, perhaps?

I still have some hope they will fix all of this. As someone else pointed out, clarify can mean "remove problematic parts" just as much. I'm still waiting for the official announcement at PAX for any info.

I'm holding the line. They won't get rid of me so easily.

edit: Edited for clarification.
