Dunno if it's been posted yet, but here's something on the Bioware blog, along with an FAQ... It's.... ja, well to put it in Afrikaans - dis nou rerig nie meer snaaks nie
Well, I guess this means I won't be buying anymore bioware products in the future.
Makes me sad when I remember how great this developer used to be.

Urgh, I knew this would happen. The endings need to be "clarified". Which is basically saying: "You guys just can't see the artistic GENIUS that we put into the game! Here, let us show you our brilliant work!" You know that saying, if you have to explain a joke it isn't funny? Same thing here. No amount of clarification is going to remove the gaping plot holes introduced through a retarded Deus Ex Machina, in a series that thus far had inner consistency.
The endings are Narrative Incoherent...
Is everyone at Bioware complete deviod the ablitity to tell Hudson and Walters - NO , these endings are not acceptable.
are those to soo damn sensitive about their so called "Artistic Vision" that they can't take criticism when wrong.
Why the hell are they being nursed like freaking children?

So much for listening to fans. How very clever of Bioware to release this the day before PAX so they don't need to discuss it in too much detail.

I don't think that they'll say anything new tomorrow. What it's written in their blog is pretty clear already.

Well, confirmation of how stubborn BioWare is. And we have to wait until it's summer? Pff, must be a lot of additional cinematics.
It's sad really. The Normandy crash scene is just so incredibly bad, it is absolutely impossible to explain it rationally.
BioWare, let us mod the game at least then?

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.
Well, they can shove their vision where the sun don't shine, and i will certainly keep my wallet closed for them.

OK, now that I have that out of my system...
It's a little disheartening that they've said they're not changing anything (OK granted, I admit that I may have gotten a little too keen on the idea of little blue babies, or adopting a krogan), but if the additions to the ending give me the explanations that I'm wanting, finally allowing things to make sense, it'll be a start for me...

You're not alone. I hope I never hear that phrase "artistic integrity" for the rest of my life. So basically we're just too stupid to see what an amazing ending ME3 was and here is some cut scenes just to help you out. So much for listening and I'm sure those of us who are not happy will by called whiny entitled brats since it's free and we should shut up now.

Ugh, I just read http://blog.bioware.com/2012/04/05/mass-effect-3-extended-cut/
Dear Lord.. they're in fact keeping the RGB endings (and only those, there won't be a fourth "screw your solutions" option added in, judging by this) and sticking to their "artistic vision".. to make us buy more dlc and, of course, multiplayer packs.. oh well. Can't say I'm surprised, really.
Just terribly disapointed.
I'm f---ing done. The artistic vision argument is being played like those who quote scripture to defend horrendous acts. No one is beyong reproach, especially not a corporate 'artist'. It is complete and utter bulls---.
That being said, there is no escapting the ugly truth; we have lost. EA has outplayed us. They are releasing 'free' DLC to make the endings 'better', so all the media outlets, including our 'friend' Paul Tassi over at Forbes are declaring we have won and anyone who doesn't agree is a whiney brat.
They have singlehandedly discreditted all of us while making the world think that they did what we asked.
There is no more line left to hold.

I think they've made it clear:" we're sticking with what we have now, we don't care if you didn't like it. But just to show we're not heartless *insert bad word here*, here's a free dlc that would explain stuff to you because you're too stupid to understand it."
I was at least hopeful that the PAX panel might yiel something nice but now...I don't know. I think Bioware has made it clear their team's skewed "artistic vision" weighs more than what their consumers want. I'm still going to stick around until PAX though. Would be less painful to mourn the death of a great series if I'm among friends.
