I will download the extended cut, mind you, and force myself to witness the end once more (with the faint hope that the epilogue will state not everyone is doomed or dead) but that will be it.
No Dragon Age 3 or any kind of pre-order/purchase from EA ever again (if it wasn't for Bioware, I'd already stopped giving EA money a while ago), and especially no more dlc of any kind. I've cancelled my TOR subscription a while back, and the only reason I even started playing that game is because it was made by Bioware.. Oh, the irony.

What about the contradictions you fed us? And the free choices we made earlier?
This is like a complete boot to the ass and teeth for loyal fans.
Come on Bioware. We ain't brain-dead idiots who you can appease with a lil' token of 'good will'.
We want a damned sacrifice for all the BS you put us through with that ending.

If they start saying things like “I wanted the ending CHANGED not
EXPANDED,” they’re going to get slapped with the “entitled” and “whiny”
labels they hate so much. And at this point, I would finally agree with
that classification. This is a win for fans and a concession from
Bioware, plain and simple.
You lose. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars.
Quote is from your precious forbes support.
no, it's not. This article is not from Erik Kain.
And while it is a concession, this is not final.
I will reserve judgment until the dlc comes out - we'll see if they can salvage the ending. But if all this does is send a message, that only BioWare's opinion matters, and we are stupid - that's a whole different story.

Oh, I just did my part to sabotage the other side(read: I cancelled my subscription). I will stay here, but their recent customer policy is anything but good. If Bioware thinks I need them, they are mistaken. I can live without their games, but they can't without my money. I sincerely hope other people feel the same.
Funny enough, when Bioware was taken over I voiced my concerns that the influence will be to big. I still recalled vividly what happened to Westwood. That it now also happened to Bioware is just sad.

Mass Effect 3 ending is lost... there's nothing that can be done any more to save it.
Thats not being negative that just acceptiing things... is fight over? No.
This is bigger then ME 3... now when the next Bioware games comes , I.E Dragon Age 3 people are going to be so put off that it tanks in sales, when they announce, new DLC map packs they tank, Omega DLC - tank. SWTOR accounts - drop like lead shoe wearing mobsters. Why because no one whats it anymore... it will send a message to not only them but the reset of the industry that you don't treat you loyal consumers like this...
Though I suspect that the message has been sent. Its not the line is over... its become about something bigger.

I don't want them to "explain" those 3 color endings (as if that were even possible to do), like I'm a 6 year old asking why the sky is blue, I want endings that make more sense than the BS we got.
They can shove that "artistic vision" line that they cling to like it's a life raft in the ocean. It doesn't cut it with me.
If I wanted a "free slap in the face" (aka DLC explanation), I could just ask my wife.
Not one cent for the rest of my life will get spent on an EA/BW title. Last straw.

Wow, that is nothing but pure arrogance. A lot of people voiced their disappointement in your art and yet you defend it. I'm utterly speechless. Might as well bury my ME stuff. Rest in pieces.
Thank god there's still Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Or the Witcher 2. Can't wait for the stuff of the enhanced version.
Yep, arrogance is what's come through in pretty much every interaction, press release, interview, etc we've had with BW and EA. No surprises there.

I just cannot fathom how it is possible that these 'great' minds picture the endings as art. The endings are weak as they stand. The pretention baffles me. If this is the future of the Bioware RPG then I will say my goodbyes. I honestly hope they bankrupt over this, their 'artists' fall without work and are forced to swallow their art and accept a real job like the rest of us where if you do not deliver on a product you can kiss your business goodbye.
Hereby goodbye
