This may be a bone they are throwing at us, but, since their decision was already made, i don't think there is any point in holding the line anymore........

The only thing i can do is not buy anything from them ever again.

You think I haven't been holding the line for that long? Ever since I finished playing the damned game I've been holding the line.
And you should know I wasn't talking about you as a loser, but that you were having the attitude of one.
I didn't get my own bakery by taking my beatings laying down. So you can be damned sure I'm not taking a beating from Bioware and taking that laying down.
And I'm being somewhat realisitic. But what can I say, I'm a damned optimist too. You fight for your right and it's the right of every gamer to have a decent game and even better endings.

Someone once made a poster saying "Origin is powered by the devil". Can't put it any better than that myself. Sorry for your pain.

support kept telling me that it's impossible to delete my account.. but finally caved and told me to write a mail to their privacy whatever mail.. that's the f* least they can do. 
but yes,.. they do seem to be powered by the devil..

It's such ridiculous bull****. Their endings were so terribly bad. They should have worked further on the indoctrination theories, providing a possible continuation for people who got high military preparedness point and chose Destroy - where you wake up with your comrades beside the beam, get into the Citadel, have some sort of boss fight and win. Simple. I'm not sure I'll even pay for this, why bother? It doesn't really improve anything.

As for Bioware, they chose to ignoire their fans when we needed them most. Thanks for nothing. You claim to be humble, but I fail to see how refusing to acknowlege a mistake and fixing it is humility.

That is the only way thy will actually listen. Our Shepard had to pay the ultimate price for their incompetance.  Let his sacrifice actually mean something.

What the hell is Bioware proud abaout anyways? It's like running a marathon but quiting ten feet from the finish line. That's nothing to be proud of.

This is damage control, that DLC was not in store, they felt they had to do it before the huge proportion the retake movement was taking.
And they do it because they are intent on exploiting the mass effect universe for future games.
But they chose not to modify the endings and we all have to respect it.

Be glad of what you've accomplished, it's unprecedented in video game industry. But thinking you will get more is delusion.

You are right, we do have to respect their decision. I just don't agree with it and will choose to spend my money elsewhere from now on.

Well guys it was fun, I probably will play some more multiplayer here and there, but this is the last game I buy from bioware. I will give it a run through see the red light one more time, see the new scenes and promptly give my last copy to the one place EA hates more than anywhere else, Gamestop.

Thanks everyone for a memorable time on the bioware forums. The comunity is what made Bioware someday they might see that again. Or well they could end up like Origin and become an empty shell of a new online service.

Agreed, but normally they wouldn't even acknowledge the problem or let it spread across the internet. They were forced to perform these actions in a direct result of the blasklash they encountered. Don't be fooled by all their fancy PR, if this marketing "trick" won't work in their favour, they'll be forced to re-evaluate their strategy yet again.

We are asking for EXTRA, ENTIRELY OPTIONAL ENDINGS. I don't care if they are not canon in further games. WHY SHOULD THEY BE WHEN ME3 IS THE LAST OF A TRILOGY!? They are done telling Shepards story (so they said), so what does it matter? Sure, you wanna keep the starchild/mass relay destruction bull****? Fine. In any case the endings cannot affect future games all that much and you know why? How are they gonna program a game where depending on your choice there are either:

• NO syntetics
• Controled synthetics
• Everyone is a mix of both

The options are too divergent and they would have to either go for one or start from scratch and explain wtf happened. Either way, what we want in not unreasonable.

And believe me, as a lawyer I can tell you, in the US there are more than enough grounds to sue over false advertising. Just contrast marketing/promotional content promises and the actual product. It has been done in this thread and many others. A driven lawyer with enough cases could do it. Hell, it would set a Hell of a standart in therms of product quality in an industry that does whatever it wants.

Don't get me wrong, I'll hold until they release... whatever they decided would not destroy their Artistic Integrity, and then make my decision, but it's looking so dark from where I'm sitting atm.

Many parts of this game were lazy, the coding during the last 50% (I kept getting black screens or just seeing shepard stuck in one spot during the cut scenes once cerberus attack the Citidel.) Tali's face is another example of lazy, the art team has almost nothing to do when the game is about to go Gold and they could have been used to make a much better effort with that picture. People would still be upset but at least they would have made an actual effort. Kai Leng is just a lazy character, completely stereotype character that could have been much better. (When I first saw the black suited arm I thought Cerberus had cloned Shepard and was really hoping for that)
And horribly lazy with the ending victory fleet, where are my vorcha, living tanks, and krogan fighting along side Geth, Quarians and Asari. Eclipse mech holding off waves of Reaper forces? Nope, no matter how many races you recruit you get the same ground team in every event.

Though I don't think it's just laziness, I honestly think EA forced them to rush the game out. EA is very well know for this practice and it hurts every single game they do it to. I can understand and simpithise with Bioware if this is the case, except for the red blue and green endings, those endings are just not acceptible and it's insulting that they think we are just to stupid to understand their "Artistic Vision". If this is all they are giving us, it doesn't matter if these new cut scenes fix the plot holes and wraps up the ending nicely, I'm done with Bioware and EA, or at least till Bioware cuts ties with EA and then I might look at their product again.
